✓✓Intel's 15th Generation Processor Lineup: Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh. The release of Intel's 15th Generation Arrow Lake CPUs, as well as a redesigned naming scheme that includes the Core Ultra 200 series, are expected to bring significant changes to the processor range. One major change is the removal of hyper-threading from Arrow Lake CPUs, which aims to improve power efficiency and thermals. Arrow Lake processors, which only support DDR5 memory, will require a motherboard upgrade due to the new LGA1851 socket. Arrow Lake claims up to 24 cores and a 20A manufacturing method for higher performance and efficiency. Meanwhile, Raptor Lake chips will continue to be branded as Core 200H, with details on their differences from prior incarnations yet to be revealed. #IntelProcessors #15thGen #ArrowLake #RaptorLake #CoreUltra200 #CPUUpgrade #HyperThreading #LGA1851 #DDR5 #ProcessorPerformance #TechNews #PCUpgrade #ComputerHardware #CPUArchitecture #TechTrends

Tech bit for today: Tech publisher keeps on breaking Pi Calculation World Record — they almost doubled the previous one, reaching 202 trillion digits in 100 days and used 1.5PB of SSD storage Previous record of 105 trillion digits broken again. Engineers at StorageReview have shattered their own world record by calculating pi to an astounding 202,112,290,000,000 digits, smashing its previous record of 105 trillion digits set earlier this year in time for World Pi Day . The previous record, the team's second attempt, was achieved using a dual processor 128-core AMD EPYC 9754 Bergamo system, equipped with 1.5TB of DRAM and nearly a petabyte of Solidigm QLC SSDs. For this attempt, the team opted for dual Intel Xeon 8592+ CPUs and 28 Solidigm P5336 61.44TB NVMe SSDs. Key to the challenge was a Dell PowerEdge R760 with a 24-bay NVMe Direct Drives backplane and an internal PCIe switch to enable simultaneous communication among all NVMe drives without the need for extra hardware or RAID devices. The setup was further customized by integrating a PCIe riser from multiple R760s for additional NVMe SSDs and enhancing it with larger heatsinks from another R760 to maximize turbo-boost capability. #technology #science #mathematics #pi

🔍 𝑭𝒖𝒏 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚! On this day in tech history, November 15, 1971, Intel introduced the world’s first microprocessor: the Intel 4004! Announced in an ad in 𝐸𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑐 𝑁𝑒𝑤𝑠 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑒, this single-chip processor, hailed as a "micro-programmable computer on a chip," was just 1/8th by 1/16th of an inch and packed the power of an entire computer. Why does this matter? The Intel 4004 set the stage for modern processors, giving rise to today’s x86 CPUs, which power everything from our laptops to large-scale Pro Audio Visual solutions. In AV applications, advanced processors bring real-time responsiveness and seamless integration, essential for managing complex AV setups, content streaming, and digital signage displays — like the solutions Ethniks Systems (Pty) Ltd. delivers! #FunFactFriday #Ethniks #Intel4004 #TechHistory #Innovation #ProAV
