Whether it's a clinician who started a MedTech company or an engineer, each comes with their own knowledge gaps, that can best be filled with additional support. More often, we see engineers leading the Research & development projects of devices & I often advise them to spend ample time understanding the "User Needs" This is critical to build a device that'll actually sell. Instead of asking 2-3 clinicians, I advise them to take a large cohort of clinicians, for ample raw data, to guide their decisions moving forward, executed via surveys. On a side note: Access to a large cohort of clinicians in not easy.
