There's a lot of turmoil out there, and I'm hearing many of you are experiencing it internally and externally. A lot of shifting is inviting you/us into our next level of leadership. I've been experiencing this, too! Lots of things are shifting around me. And the question then is, what is the gift in this? Sometimes, things turn out differently than we anticipate. So, rather than taking it as a failure, I often hear the word failure with my clients. Rather than seeing it as a failure, ask what the learning is here. What am I observing? What is the invitation now to go deeper with this new opportunity that is presenting itself? So, I want to share that with you and let you know that you have within you everything that you need to move forward. While that might not land for you, depending on where you are on the continuum of experiencing certain disruptions in your life, turmoil, and lots of new things presenting themselves to you. It might not feel true to you. Yet the truth is that you do hold the power within you. I'm sharing this with you because I have been receiving this intuitive download to begin a conscious women's leadership circle. (By the way, some men are asking more about it, and yes, I will certainly offer it to the conscious men out there who also have a mission to bring to the world.) This is a pilot program that I will be hosting in my home for a very small, intimate group of leaders, changemakers, decision-makers, and conscious, heart centered leaders who have a big mission to fulfill. There's something transformative about taking time away. It’s like hitting the reset button, clearing the screen, and starting with a blank canvas. Today, I'm no longer a CEO. Experience Institute is in the very capable hands of Sara Loncka and company. And now I'm discovering a different seat. Stepping into the role of Chairman of the Board, I've been asking: What does leadership look like from this vantage point? How can I continue to drive value and foster growth from here? At the same time, I'm excited to embark on a new journey (more on that soon). I'll be working with a group of remarkably talented individuals. It'll be a new space to dive deeper into talent development, coaching, executive leadership, and innovation. One thing is certain: after 15 years in this field I only have more questions than answers. And showing up here on LinkedIn with those questions rather than a steady stream of profound tidbits could seem...backwards. But for most of us, I think it's actually the best starting point to moving forward. What no one tells you about leadership: The higher you rise, the lonelier it gets. Leadership often looks polished from the outside but what’s less visible are the silent struggles that come with it. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱. As an executive coach to senior leaders, I’ve seen first-hand how many leaders grapple with these challenges. They confide in me about the moments of doubt, the long hours wrestling with difficult decisions, and the fear of letting their teams down. The journey to discover & accept your path is not always straightforward. The more I walk this path, the more I see a bigger mission emerging. Jogging today in this beautiful scenery near my house, I have been reflecting and paying gratitude for where I am now. Observing all the beauty around, the life fuelled with passion, meaning, growth, and mission that is growing. I remember the first time I heard the saying: "Strong opinions, loosely held." Back then, it felt like a contradiction - how could we hold an opinion firmly yet be ready to let it go? Looking back now, it's clear that this mindset is one of the cornerstones of effective leadership. In leadership, we often feel pressure to have all the answers, to stand solid in our convictions. But as we grow, we see the strength in saying, "I don’t know," when we truly don’t—and staying curious to find the right way forward. It’s not about having every answer upfront but about setting a direction and being open to adapting as new information, insights, and team feedback come in. When we lead with “strong opinions, loosely held,” we give ourselves the freedom to chart a course with conviction, while inviting others to challenge, reshape, and improve it. The Truth About Leadership Nobody Is Talking About. The leaders who I see win in workplaces are the ones who win their inner games. They: → Stay loyal to their North Star. → Are humble yet on fire. → Never stop learning. → Never give up. → Are different. That's everyday leadership...
