𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:  📈 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: Our Board has endorsed a forward-looking strategy that focuses on deepening the impact of APQP4Wind and increasing the user-friendliness of APQP4Wind services. 📘 𝗔𝗣𝗤𝗣𝟰𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Significant progress was made in outlining the next steps for updating our material to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of the industry. These enhancements will make the APQP4Wind resources even more relevant and valuable to our stakeholders. 🌐 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The meeting also emphasized the importance of community engagement and the role of our members and stakeholders in achieving shared goals. We discussed enhancing collaborative efforts to integrate the APQP4Wind methodology further globally. As we move forward with these strategic initiatives, we invite our community to join us in this exciting journey. Together, we will continue to drive excellence and innovation in the wind industry, ensuring quality and performance that meet the demands of tomorrow. The WElink team had an incredible experience at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, the world’s leading business platform for the wind energy sector. With over 37,000 attendees and 1,400 exhibitors, this event was a powerhouse of innovation and collaboration. We spoke to Peter Golden, Project & Corporate Finance Manager, and he gave us his takeaways from the conference — • There’s major excitement surrounding the Portugal 1TWh opportunity, and we received a lot of interest from turbine manufacturers eager to be part of this project. • The financing market for Southern Europe is looking strong, with significant interest from European banks to support the region’s renewable energy growth. • The sector’s optimism is infectious! As turbines grow larger and more efficient, the energy transition feels closer than ever, with thought leaders and innovators excited to tackle the challenges ahead. Attending the #HamburgWindFair last week was quite the experience and being part of such an amazing team at the Nordex Group only adds to that excitement! Our team has been working tirelessly to push boundaries, and seeing the innovations on display at the fair reaffirmed that we're on the right path. The #energy sector is really the spiral in the web that spans accross all industries whether it’s transportation, manufacturing, or technology — our work plays a pivotal role in driving change and reducing the carbon footprint in these sectors. My main take aways from WindEnergy Hamburg 2024: 1. The challenges we face as a global community of OEMs, customers, developers etc. are the same. We share a common goal and it is only through collaboration that we can address these challenges. 2. Innovation in technology is absolutely key. We need to embody this spirit of cooperation and constantly look for ways to improve so we can bring new solutions to life. 3. Set your bearings, there’s a whirlwind of panels, suppliers, and customers to explore.
