Wait until I tell you about a new technology that’s all the rage: it’s called a “real camera.”

I'm an AI moderate, definitely see the value in it. But we're getting to a point where AI has become so complex that we need specialists to keep track of all the different minutia. This is inventing the role of an AI director of photography, we're going to get to a diminishing return where it may just end up being easier to actually do a shoot with real people. We're just swapping out one tool for another.

Soon you will have more things to watch than people able to watch it... Eventually those big studio heads will loose too if almost anyone will be able to cook something at their home with machine or with paid subscription. Price of production will drop but also amount of products will increase while amount of people remain more or less same. So income of each studio will drop.

Love that the dress change shape also when panning around. No real control of camera, I mean you roll the dices and you pray for it to do what you have in mind is a far cry from controls. The skin flickers like there is no tomorrow (that will be fixed soon enough but still). The band aid on the open wood that are prompts to control visuals continues.

It works with static images like these, but otherwise it kills all the movement. Well, we're heading in the right direction though.

Nice feature, I noticed however that when using these controls every other prompt movement is ignored, guess that will be fixed sooner or later 🤔

Control is good in filmmaking but so is controlled chaos. With handheld cameras you get that immersive, shaky quality that can really only be gained by real-world physics (e.g., a hard footfall by the DP as they walk backward filming the scene). Pretty pan and scans and quick zooms are helpful but only two of the many arrows in a DPs arsenal. Definitely seeing progress though!
