"Think about it like this: use as much assistance as possible where the athlete is still doing most of the work. Sprinting is so technical with the rhythm and timing of it all, we don't want to get too far away from the feel of sprinting with too much help from the assistance." Very applied explanation of the philosophy, programming, and coaching of overspeed sprinting. Regardless if you have a machine to do overspeed or not, the concepts and principles still apply.
