(Most of your lack of progress in strength training comes from improper form this doesn’t mean you need to lift heavier weights, but technique is essential! you need to focus on: -Understanding the fundamentals of each exercise -Starting with lighter weights to master form -Utilizing mirrors or training partners for feedback -Incorporating mobility work to enhance your range of motion Perfecting your form will lead to better results and a safer training experience! :)

Even when training for the same movement, the methods will vary depending on your specific training needs. Take, for example, Mo Farah and Usain Bolt, who are technically both running. However, one is training for stamina and endurance, while the other is training for explosive power and speed. So, the training methods and techniques vary according to their sport-specific needs. The same principle applies to other training methods. For example in resistance or strength training if your goal is to get bigger and stronger, you must apply progressive overload and focus on engaging your muscles and the quality of the movement or time or under tension with good technique. But, if your goal is strength and power, you need to focus on being fast and explosive while moving as much weight as possible from point A to B, quickly and efficiently as possible with good technique. This is also known as the principle of specificity in training. #training #traininganddevelopment #workouttips

While you might still be able to lift heavy weights, your explosive movements generally are not as sharp once we hit 35 With the right training and recovery strategies, you can slow down the decline and maintain both your power and strength so you can keep kicking ass in the gym and in sports…. BUT you need to learn how to do this in the smartest and safest way possible because explosive movements are risky. If you’re interested in gaining access to the Conjugate Training Method that GUARANTEES to improve your power, speed and strength…. Send through a DM

Plyometric training is comparable to a vacation – a great place to visit, but not to settle down in permanently. It's crucial for practitioners to recognize the mechanical stress plyometrics put on the body and to know how to integrate a well-structured plyometric training regimen. Possibly influenced by the CrossFit culture, there's a misconception that engaging in random jumping or plyometrics all year round is adequate programming. WODs are not programming; they are WODS and usually don't consider systematic variation in volume and intensity needed for optimization.

This is the number 1 reason why every gymnast should perform box jumps….. 1️⃣ Explosive Power Development Box jumps are an incredible tool for building lower body explosive power. As gymnasts, powerful leg drive is essential for higher tumbling passes, vaulting, and quick takeoffs on the floor. Box jumps mimic that fast-twitch power you need to generate more force in less time. Do you include box jumps on your training?
