The Hydroelectric power station Project, being developed in Hatta, Dubai by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority( DEWA), is set to be the first of its kind in the Arabian Gulf region. The 250 MW station will generate electricity by making use of water stored in Hatta Dam. We are proud to be a part of this innovative initiative with the supply of Shinwa cooling tower with strict compliance from client, consultant and contractor. Our Shinwa cooling tower ensures optimal performance through its high-efficiency heat exchange, which is crucial for the hot climate of the region. Additionally along with its low-noise operation, the compact and space-saving design facilitates easy installation and integration, making it ideal for complex layout of the Hatta hydroelectric power station. #Maxell #Shinwa #CoolingTower #HVAC #Sustainability #Dubai #DEWA #UAE #Hatta #GulfRegion #EcoFriendly #CleanEnergy

🔍 In mainstream media, Dubai is famous for its luxury and opulence, but do you know it's also home to the world's largest single-site natural gas power generation facility? 🌟 In this week's edition of Mega Industrial Plants, we underline the strategic importance of Jebel Ali Power and Desalination Plant for UAE. 💡🏭 Operated by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA , this massive gas- and oil-powered CCGT plant meets most of Dubai's energy and water needs. According to Guinness World Records, it holds a record for power generation capacity of 9,547 MW! 💡 But that's not all. The plant can desalinate 2.228 million cubic meters of seawater daily, which translates to 490 million imperial gallons per day (MIGD) – enough to support Dubai's domestic water consumption. 🚰 #operationalexcellence #predictivemaintenance

DEWA’s projects and programmes contribute to enhancing #energy and #water efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has made a significant achievement in improving electricity and water production efficiency, by 41.73% in 2023 compared to 2006. This equates to a cumulative reduction of 92.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions between 2006 and 2023, equivalent to planting 484 million trees required to absorb this amount of CO2 emissions. DEWA produces electricity and water using co-generation technology. Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) harness waste heat from gas turbines to generate additional electricity and provide thermal energy for the water desalination process. DEWA also employs an innovative hybrid system for water desalination plants, integrating various technologies such as Multi-Stage Flashing (MSF) and Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO), ensuring optimal efficiency and minimising costs throughout the plant’s lifecycle..... https://bit.ly/4eLe4Ir Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA LetsTalkCity #Dubai #Utilities #Efficiency #Sustainability #UAE #GCC #MiddleEast

🌞🔌🌱 Welcome to Green ERA FZE! 🌱🔌🌞 Today, we will talk about the eighth component of solar power stations: Protections, Fuses, and Circuit Breakers. Protections, fuses, and circuit breakers are essential parts of a solar energy system as they protect devices and components from overcurrent or short circuits. Let's explore some types of protections, fuses, and circuit breakers and their details: 1️⃣ Time Protection: This protection is used to safeguard devices from overcurrent or overload over specific time periods. 2️⃣ Fuse: A fuse is used to protect devices from overcurrent. If the current exceeds the allowed limit, the fuse cuts off the circuit to prevent damage. 3️⃣ Circuit Breaker: A circuit breaker functions by interrupting the flow of electric current in case of electrical faults such as short circuits or overloads. 🌞🔌🌱 Protections, fuses, and circuit breakers are vital components in a solar energy system, ensuring the safety of devices and components from electrical hazards. Letus express our excitement about these important components by adding several emojis: ⚡️🔌🌞🌱💡📡🚀🔋🌍😍💪 Contact us for more information: ● Sharjah, UAE. Join us at Green ERA FZE to benefit from the advantages of protections, fuses, and circuit breakers and contribute to enhancing sustainability and generating clean energy.

DEWA emphasises its commitment to providing reliable energy and water services through its advanced infrastructure Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) provides a safe and reliable supply of energy and water to ensure comfortable conditions for all residents of Dubai around the clock. This is part of its commitment to prioritising and meeting the water and energy needs of the Emirate of Dubai and supporting Goal 6 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030, which ensures clean water and sanitation for all. This is accomplished through an advanced infrastructure that keeps pace with the increasing demand for energy in Dubai, which was estimated to increase by 6.3% in 2023, compared to 2022. By implementing leading projects and programmes, DEWA’s production capacity has reached 16,270 MW of electricity and 495 million imperial gallons (MIGD) per day of desalinated water. DEWA’s results surpass major European and American utilities in several key performance indicators. In 2023, line losses from electricity transmission and distribution networks were reduced to 2% compared to around 6-7% in Europe and the USA. Water transmission and distribution network losses reached 4.6% compared to about 15% in North America. DEWA also recorded the world’s lowest electricity Customer Minutes Lost (CML) per year in the world with an average of 1.06 minutes in 2023, compared to around 15 minutes recorded by leading utility companies in the European Union..... https://bit.ly/3TO1mjm Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA LetsTalkCity #Dubai #Utilities #Water #Energy #UAE #GCC #MiddleEast

In UAE there are three sources of natural energy and I have an idea for everyone: water, heat, and open space. An installation that uses water and can work24/24 hours, 345 days a year, with an alternator of 500 kw, and an energetic efficiency of more 85% : 500 kw * 24 hours * 345 days * 85% = 3.519.000 kwh a year. But can be a storage at the same time and can be built in any town, at the sea or in the mountains. If you build 2 or 3 installations you can control when you need more or less electricity in your system.
