The hard-working people in Renewable Energy continue to inspire me! Had the honor of joining this amazing group of technicians for breakfast last week in Iowa as they were coming off a night shift on a Repower job. In case you don't know, Major Component / Crane work is best scheduled around low-wind windows so the shifts can change often. They all have an inspiring dedication to their careers and expertise in their trade! One of the conversation topics was trust with the crane operator. They all shared their thoughts on the importance of this trust between the technicians and the crane operators; How to build it, the long period of time that it takes to build that trust, and the increased efficiency that can be achieved once that trust is truly in place. Regardless of your job type, years of services, or career position, these social-skills, soft-skills, interpersonal-skills, personal attributes, and intentional communication skills are paramount to achieving entitlement in any work process.
