🧠 March is Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Awareness Month! 🧠 Did you know? In the United States, approximately 2.8 million traumatic brain injuries occur each year, resulting from various causes such as accidents, sports injuries, and military service. The construction industry ranks among the most at-risk occupations for TBIs due to the nature of the work and the potential for accidents on construction sites. Organizations like the Brain Injury Network (thebind.org)provide invaluable resources, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by TBI. During this awareness month, consider making a difference by supporting the Brain Injury Network. Your contribution will help fund essential programs and services aimed at improving the lives of those impacted by TBI. To learn more and donate to The Brain Injury Network today please use the following link (https://lnkd.in/gUbFB7iX). Registration is now open for June 22.
We are excited to collaborate with Millennium Health and Blacktop Restaurant Group on June 22 at our surf therapy camp in La Jolla in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Both groups will bring employee volunteers and Millennium Health will host an information booth to educate our attendees on the topic of fentanyl. This camp is also made possible by donations made by several donors, grants made possible by the San Diego Foundation, and the CA Coastal Conservancy. Thank you to our generous supporters and partners for helping us address, as a unique community collaboration, the mental health needs of our youngest survivors of domestic violence, abandonment, and neglect.

There’s a significant shortage of funding and resources available to support those living in the community with brain injury. It’s easy to write to your MP to highlight the issue and ask for a Budget for Brain Injury using the Headway - the brain injury association template 👉 https://shorturl.at/U6daj #traumaticbraininjury #tbi #acquiredbraininjury #abi #budgetforbraininjury #headway Fieldfisher Personal Injury and Medical Negligence
Headway’s Budget for Brain Injury campaign is shining a light on the critical funding shortage for community-based rehabilitation services across the UK. With six local Headway charities already forced to close and more at risk, the impact on survivors and their families is devastating. We’re calling on you to take action by writing to your MP. To make it easier, we’ve provided a letter template on Headway's Website. Just follow the link below. Your support can make all the difference. 👉 https://shorturl.at/U6daj #HeadwaySussex #BrainInjuryAwareness #SupportHeadway #BudgetForBrainInjury #CommunityCare #HealthcareAdvocacy

As most may know, my second "hands tied" half marathon is coming up in two weeks. I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea to support this initiative. The goal for this race is to provide vital counseling for five survivors through the Special Operations aftercare program, and we need your help to make it happen. Here are 4 ways can join us in making a difference: 1. Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, will directly impact the life of a young survivor. Your generosity can be the lifeline they desperately need to heal and rebuild their lives. "Every child is one caring adult away from being a success story." You can be that adult. https://gofund.me/446ec660 2. Share the Story: Spread the word far and wide! Share this post with your network and encourage others to support our cause. Together, we can amplify our impact and reach more people who need Special Operations Finding Kids. 3. Become a Sponsors: If your company or brand has a heart for this cause, we should partner together. I would love to represent your products during the race and beyond in an effort to combine networks and reach more people. Your connections could be the key to securing additional resources for these survivors. 4. Media Exposure: Help us raise awareness by connecting us with media outlets, influencers, and journalists who can share this initiative with their local communities., By getting our message in front of a broader audience, we can spark meaningful conversations and inspire others to take action. Together, we can provide hope, healing, and a brighter future for survivors of human trafficking. Let's stand together against exploitation and make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

So we all know that HT is horrible, and traumatic. We know it shouldn’t happen, and our laws and culture need to change to protect our children better. We all know that it takes a lot of resources and support to stand a chance at healing. But what would you do to truly help a survivor? Would you help them heal, if you could? Would you trade one cup of coffee per week? A $20 monthly donation could make all the difference in the life of a survivor. ☕️☕️☕️☕️—>Life-Saving Therapy: Humansave.org/donate It will take all of us, together, to end human trafficking within our generation.

✨ Transforming Tragedy Into Hope ✨ For survivors of mass violence, the challenges don’t end when the headlines fade—they endure for years. The trauma, both physical and emotional, is immense. Many survivors face barriers like inaccessible medical care, unaffordable therapy, and financial strain. At VTVCare, we believe survivors deserve more than just sympathy—they deserve tangible, lasting support. That’s why 100% of every donation is invested into our Endowment Fund, providing long-term medical and mental health care for survivors and their families. 💡 Why Your Support Matters: ❤️🩹 Survivors from the Pulse Nightclub Shooting, who endured unimaginable loss, now have access to therapy and resources they never thought possible. ❤️🩹 Families of the Virginia Beach Municipal Center Shooting shooting, whose lives were forever changed, receive the care they need to navigate the future. Survivors aren’t left behind—they’re supported for years to come. 💙 Every donation builds a legacy of hope. Even $10/month ensures survivors receive the care they need, when they need it most. 🔗 Want to help? Check the first comment for how you can make an impact. Today (Sept 5th) is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day, a cause that holds a very special place in my heart and in the heart of Tx Five. As some of you may know, the creation of Tx Five was driven by a personal experience that deeply affected my family. My younger brother suffered a severe spinal cord injury, and he continues to be an inspiration day in, day out. His resilience and positivity serve as a living reminder that no matter what you're faced with, you can overcome it. You can defy the odds and you can choose to make a truly positive impact on those around you. At Tx Five, we believe in making a positive impact not just in the biotech world, but in the wider patient community too. That's why we proudly donate a portion of our fees to Wings for Life, a spinal cord research foundation dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries. Our contributions are just one way we’re working to support life-changing research, and we are committed to continuing this mission. Let’s continue raising awareness and supporting research that can change lives.
