We are thrilled to announce the release of the 2023-24 Annual Report of The Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIM Ahmedabad! This past year has been a landmark period of achievement and progress, marked by groundbreaking research initiatives, educational endeavours, and impactful collaborations. Research Highlights: Our faculty led pioneering projects on future of work and the impact of AI on jobs and skills. In collaboration with Saajha, an NGO dedicated to educational outcomes, we explored WhatsApp-enabled interventions to boost parental engagement, learning outcomes, and operational efficiency. Workshops & Collaborations: We hosted the Large Scale Optimization Workshop (LSO 2023) at IIT Kanpur, fostering interdisciplinary research. Additionally, our inaugural Workshop on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence has become a cornerstone for dialogue within the academic and industrial communities. Seminars & Webinars: Throughout the year, we organized numerous events, uniting experts and enthusiasts to discuss advancements and challenges in AI, keeping the academic and professional communities engaged and informed.
