It’s Halloween, a night that is sure to be filled with plenty of fun, loads of laughs and endless amounts of treats. Whether you’re taking the kids trick-or-treating or have somewhere fun to be yourself, 𝙬𝙚 𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩! Here are a few friendly reminders to ensure the kids of the North Okanagan and beyond have a safe night; Slow down – drive well below the speed limit to be prepared in case something, or someone darts onto the road. Don’t pass stopped vehicles without extra caution – drivers may be dropping children off When pulling into or backing out of driveways look all ways, and be sure other drivers are aware of your movements. Ensure your headlights are on, and yes, your signal will be extra important tonight. Unless your children are participating in Halloween, consider avoiding driving in subdivisions during the hours of 5pm to 9pm, when most trick-or-treating takes place. Leave extra time to get to where you need to be if you are heading out. Don’t use your cell phone while driving – and pay extra attention to the activity around you. Be extra conscious of sidewalks and crosswalks, as well as those moving between parked cars. Keep your sound down on your radio too. 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹. I always say this…there is a reason why it is called a “Motherboard”. If anyone built their own PC from scratch; investing in the parts & components to fitting it all by hand & screwdrivers to running it up with PC software. Without the motherboard, the PC will not function. It’s the body of the PC. Observe the intricate, fine details. The Motherboard explains it all about Mothers.
Here's to all the mothers that drive us, support us, and keep us going 😉. Happy Mother's Day! 😁🤗💐💖

Be mindful of speed limits and stay alert for unexpected pedestrians. 🍬 **Plan Your Route**: Avoid busy neighbourhoods if you're commuting and check for road closures or community events to prevent unnecessary delays. 🎃 **Light It Up**: Keep streets well-lit to ensure visibility for both drivers and pedestrians. Encourage trick-or-treaters to wear reflective gear or carry flashlights. 🚧 **Set Up Detours**: If you're managing a local event or large gathering, set up clear signage and detours to keep traffic flowing smoothly. 👀 **Stay Alert**: Drivers should avoid distractions and stay vigilant for children crossing roads or darting out between parked cars. With Halloween upon us, how might brands leverage this fun spirit to showcase character and capabilities? 👻⚡ I'm all about brands that get creative with cultural cues to spark shares. At Gewiss we saw an opportunity to experiment with a more lighthearted tone while delivering an instructive case study in strategic storytelling. Here the secret ingredients we use to cook this piece of content: 1️⃣ First Leveraging cultural moments like this to showcase brand personality 💯 2️⃣ Then, weaving in core differentiators nourishes brand trustworthiness. 🔄 3️⃣ Lastly Striking that balance of entertainer and adviser extends reach while cultivating likability. 🤟 Kudos to the team behind the scenes Alessandro Belotti Federica Capitanio 💡 Any other examples of companies embracing holidays to foster rapport? Hit me - I'm keen to pass insightful strategies and contents !🤙
Some projects can be scary. But with the right partner, there’s nothing to fear. At GEWISS, we are always proud to put our products at the service of your goals. Even the most ambitious ones... Happy Halloween!

Holiday Fun at Work: Don’t Be the Festivity Enforcer! 😁 Holiday time at work can be a blast…Secret Santa, desk decorating, potlucks, you name it! But let’s be real…not everyone’s jolly about joining in the reindeer games. There are people who don’t want to throw a tinsel parade! (Note: Hey, I do! If you’re having a tinsel parade, please invite me)! 🤣 If someone doesn’t want to put on a Santa hat or share their grandma’s casserole recipe, let it go! They’re not being a Scrooge; they’re just setting boundaries (which, honestly, is a gift we all could use)! Let people opt out without feeling guilty. The gift of “no pressure” is priceless. Some team members just prefer to keep their holiday spirit low-key, and pressuring them only makes things awkward. But hey, that doesn’t mean everyone else can’t have a holly jolly good time! Go ahead and rock that ugly sweater contest or compete for the most over-the-top desk décor. So, lead like a pro this season - - we need to spread goodwill, not guilt. As for me…I’ll be there…spiking the eggnog! 🤣

Happy Easter & Drive Safely this Easter ————————————— As we embark on our journeys to connect with loved ones this Easter, prioritize safety on the roads: 1. Stay Alert and Rested: Get enough sleep before driving and take breaks as needed. 2. Obey the Speed Limit: Speeding reduces your reaction time in emergencies. 3.Avoid Distractions: Keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. 4. Designate a Driver: If you plan to enjoy Easter festivities, plan for a designated driver. 5. Check Your Vehicle: Ensure your car is in good working condition before hitting the road. Together, let's make this Easter a safe one. #DriveResponsibly #EasterSafety #RoadRules

#FridayFun - A good friend just gave me this gift....13 years after initially intended. This is the perfect opportunity for a Win At-Shelf Framework™ assessment. Seen: Although I didn't get to experience this in a buying context, the dark color and absence of strong color contrast would let me doubt its strong shelf presence. That said, seeing Justin's mop top showing up in an unexpected category could still enable it to break through. Understood: The category placement should do a lot of the heavy lifting in communicating "floss", but the structure is novel enough and the absence of the normal white color does add some friction to understanding. Additionally, purple cued grape to me, so I was surprised to see this was mint flavored. Wanted: This clearly is designed to drive irrational want and succeeds with that. The dominance of Bieber on-pack will drive Beliebers like me (and my friend in this case) to shell out whatever the asking price is. Wanted Again: Having tried the product, it performs as intended, although the intensity of the mint might have faded over the last decade. I had hoped flossing might elevate my falsetto singing voice, but that doesn't appear to be true. All said, this product is unlikely drive much repeat purchase once the novelty has faded, but was a super fun gift to receive out of the blue. #winatshelf #fmcg
