°Unethical Practices at °flybig ° I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Flybig, a company I once worked for with dedication. Despite serving my full 3-month notice period and completing all formalities, my final month’s salary (October 2024) has not been paid. What’s worse, the company has also failed to deposit my Provident Fund contributions from the very beginning of my tenure. This is not just unethical but also a clear violation of employee rights. Multiple emails and calls have gone unanswered, and it is disheartening to see how employees, both current and former, are treated when it comes to their rightful dues. Such practices reflect poorly on the company’s values and reputation. I am sharing this to raise awareness among professionals and job seekers who might consider joining Flybig. Companies that fail to honor their obligations towards employees should be held accountable. I urge Flybig to take immediate action to resolve this matter and pay my dues without further delay. It’s time companies stop exploiting employees and start practicing the ethics they preach. #donotjoinflybig #EmployeeRights #WorkplaceEthics #UnpaidSalary #flybig #flybigHr, #flybigfinance #worstcompany #comments #post #suggest

#ThreeYears at Fly Finance🥂 Time flies! It's hard to believe that it's already been 3 years since I joined Fly Finance. All this while, I’ve had my fair share of high, lows, and a lot of 'What am I doing?' moments. 🙃 From the rush of solving complex problems to the brain-bending challenges that left me staring at my screen wondering if green tea was really the answer (spoiler: it wasn’t always), this journey has been full of ups and downs. But I say this proudly that each day has been a lesson, sometimes hard-earned, but always valuable. Having said that, Cheers to: 🥂The countless meetings, and many brainstorming sessions (shoutout to the whiteboard and excel :p) 🥂 The "Did I just learn something new?" moments. 🥂The days when everything clicked, and the days when it felt like we were building bridges without foundations. Through it all, Fly Finance has been a place where I’ve grown both professionally and personally. It’s a privilege to work alongside Rachit Juneja and Satyam Singh who are always ready to tackle the next challenge and helped me to grow as individual. A big thanks to my incredible team who were a part of my 3 years journey - current & ex #Flymates So, here's to the upcoming years... and whatever other plot twists come our way. ✨ #Anniversary #3Years #Growth #Challenges #TeamFly #Finance #Grateful #LessonsLearned

Mr. Pitti, founder of Easemytrip, has withdrawn his bid for Go First, another low-cost domestic airline heading towards extinction. Although unfortunate, this case leaves enormous learning for those who still surviving and are entering into business. I strongly believe that; 1. Operational efficiency is key to any business, be it engines, ground, or in-flight operations. 2. Cash is sanity: Expand only when every aspects of existing business is secured. 3. Spreading thin is suicidal: Irrespective of business's type, size or geographies. I had privilege of sharing my views on subject with Neha Tripathi. Let's take this opportunity to learn and grow. #aviation #indianaviation #goFirst #businessmodel #HindustanTimes

"Spirit Airlines is petitioning to enter into the type of bankruptcy deal (chapter 11) that lets business run as usual while the company restructures a mammoth $3.6 billion in long-term debt." Despite the article describes a few reasons, I believe they forgot one important thing: The Customer Experience. Evidently, many people want to travel cheaper, but not at any cost. Does it feel right when you can't carry a small bag with you? Sometimes it feels like your going to cinema, because they charge you $10 for a peanut sample (with no movie!) Airlines in general, not just Spirit, are in a long run to charge you every single detail. I've read articles which say that they want to charge your ticket according to your weight. Unbelievable. is that a good experience? Are we experimenting an oligopoly, with bad service consequences? Don't they need to think out of the box and redesign the whole thing that, evidently, is not working anymore? #CX #CustomerExperience

Spirit Airlines: From "Bare Fares" to Bankruptcy Court - A Business Analyst's Unconventional Take Okay, folks, buckle up! Spirit Airlines, the airline that made us all masters of the "personal item Tetris" game, just filed for bankruptcy. And honestly? As a business analyst with a penchant for the unconventional, I can't say I'm entirely surprised. Let's rewind. Spirit was the OG disruptor, the rebel of the skies, offering those "bare fares" that made us question if we really needed that carry-on (spoiler: we usually did). They were profitable, they were growing, they were...bold. Remember those bright yellow planes? You couldn't miss 'em! But then, the turbulence hit. Pandemic, anyone? ✈️ Suddenly, those packed planes and rock-bottom prices weren't so appealing. And those failed merger attempts? Frontier, JetBlue...it was like a chaotic dating show, but with airlines. Now, let's talk numbers. Spirit's financial statements tell a story. From a net income of $335 million in 2019, they plunged into a blood bath of $447 million net loss. So, what went wrong? As a business analyst, I see a few key factors: Over-reliance on a single revenue model: The "bare fare" strategy was vulnerable to external shocks like, oh, I don't know, a global pandemic. Missed opportunities for diversification: Could they have explored ancillary revenue streams more aggressively? Loyalty programs? Partnerships? Competitive pressures: Other airlines started offering basic economy fares, squeezing Spirit's niche. These figures paint a stark picture of the financial strain the airline has been under. Failed merger attempts with Frontier and JetBlue further exacerbated their situation, likely hindering their ability to achieve operational synergies and navigate the competitive landscape. This bankruptcy filing is a wake-up call for the industry. It's a reminder that even the most disruptive businesses need to adapt, innovate, and, dare I say, embrace a little bit of "frills" sometimes. What lessons can we learn from Spirit's journey? Share your thoughts in the comments! 👇 #SpiritAirlines #Bankruptcy #BusinessAnalysis #AirlineIndustry #Disruption #Innovation #UnconventionalThinking
