The tourism sector anticipates the best summer in history for Málaga. Only a week has passed since the start of the summer season, but the tourism sector in the province of Málaga already has numbers that confirm we are heading for a record-breaking summer. Hotel reservations for July, for example, are already two percentage points higher than the close of this month in 2023. The data presented shows an 8.1% increase in the number of travelers staying in regulated establishments during the first four months of 2024, reaching 2,229,706 travelers. This increase is mainly attributed to the growth of foreign tourism, which has risen by 16%, while national tourism has decreased by 3.6%. Overnight stays also grew by 12%, reaching 8 million, with a notable 18.4% rise in overnight stays by foreign tourists. #tourism #recordsummer

Antigua and Barbuda Presents a Positive Tourism Activity Report at the Caribbean Travel Marketplace 42 During the first day of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace 42, Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, presented an encouraging report on the nation's tourism performance and updates for 2024. James highlighted that Antigua and Barbuda closed 2023 with a 6% increase in air arrivals compared to 2022. Arrivals reached 281,896, up from 265,119 the previous year, approaching the record of just over 300,000 visitors set in 2019. The first quarter of 2024 has started strong, recording an 11% growth compared to the same period in 2023. Impressive Growth in Czech Republic's Tourism Sector in Q1 2024 📈 🙌 The first quarter of 2024 witnessed a significant surge in tourist arrivals in the Czech Republic, with over 4.1 million tourists choosing to stay in hotels, guesthouses, and campsites.
