At SCVO (Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations)’s DigiShift this morning we discussed how to build your roadmap for 2025 and I made a plea… … I encouraged everyone to consider not just the 'why' and 'what' of their 2025 roadmap, but also the 'how' - the ways of working that will unlock their ability to achieve their goals. Here’s what I said: #DigitalCharities #AgileCharities #CollaborativeWorkplace #OrganisationalGoals #ExperimentalApproach #TransparentLeadership

Re-sharing for my network of employee owners/leaders/champions/advocates 📢 As employee owners we are all equal and share the same responsibilities to help our business do better, and we all share in the benefits when it does. Sometimes though, individuals might occasionally do more or achieve something through their personal actions - in those instances they should be celebrated... It's a good thing there is such an award for that from the eoa then 👇 If you know someone like this, I'd encourage you to nominate them. PLEASE do nominate them, it will make an enormous positive difference to them and to your business 🎉 #UKeoAwards #EmployeeOwnership #Culture
Do you have an amazing individual who has delivered significant impact within your EO business? Then enter them into the ‘Employee Owner of the Year’ award and showcase them to the rest of the sector! No matter their seniority, this award celebrates true EO champions. This is all about the person who’s done the most to develop and promote EO inside their business and beyond. This might be an innovation they’ve suggested which has seen success following implementation. 📢 “It’s nice to have a bit of recognition that what we’ve done has worked and the things that haven’t worked we’ve been confident to try and we’ve learnt from it” Sam Moles from Stephens Scown – ‘Employee Owner of the Year' winner 2023 So, if you have anyone in your business who demonstrates their passion and commitment to EO in everything they do, get nominating. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eq_VE3Ay This year’s awards are proudly sponsored by Howden #UKeoAwards #eoaAnnualConference #Culture #EmployeeOwnership

Taking those first steps on an awards journey can be daunting. I often hear questions like this from agencies and in-house teams alike: • Should we even be entering at all – why or why not? • What stories to enter? • Which awards and categories to enter? • Aren't they all just a big rip-off where you only win if you buy a table of 10? That’s why I’m excited about this week’s success. Not only did I guide new client Brash through some of these questions (and more), but the ‘master entry’ I wrote for them is a finalist in two categories at the #TransformAwardsMEA. This means they will DEFINITELY win something at the 21 May ceremony (without buying a table of 10) and everything’s crossed for two 🥇🥇! Thanks Guillaume (Gee-um), Gary, Elise and Pauline for bringing me on board/allowing me to guide you. Am also super stoked that our process gave you the confidence to draft your own entries for two other stories that were shortlisted twice each too! #AwardsEntries #Awards2024 #AwardWinning #AwardsStrategy #AwardsConsultancy #AwardsAdvice #AgencyAwards #BrandingAwards Transform magazine Andrew Thomas

Sharing the takeover post I did for the wonderful Rowena Wilding last week. When awards are integrated in your marketing they become even more valuable, as there are gains from the moment you enter. Ready to stop winging it and start winning it? Book a discovery call 🤍

Well half term has ticked by in a blink of an eye! If you're now sat, starting at the devastation left by the kids, thinking you deserve an award for holding it all together - kids, house, business, admin, marketing and all the rest.... Then today's takeover is perfect for you. Emma Hewitt is an award-winning awards specialist! (Probably don't try to get your head round that after a glass of wine) She helps businesses optimise their award entries, maximise their chances of winning, and capitalise on all the addition opportunities awards bring. She took my 1 day strategy workshop, honed her offer, and is now kicking ass, with her first three clients ALL picking up trophies!
