P2: Electro-Pneumatic Control After all the experiment we can conclude that the NO valve will block the air flow when we press the button, where as NC valve will let the air flow when we press the button. Pneumatic system can be made by using circuit, like AND and OR with a different logic from the electrical logic circuit. An interesting measurement came up during the Applied VFD Controls and Service training class. I had just shown in the presentation what 3 phase current waveforms look like on 6 / 12 / 18 pulse VFDs…..only later during a lab had I made this connection and waveform measurements. Any guesses as to what is different with the current waveform (can’t give too much away!) Here is how / where the measurement was taken: A phase Current and A-Gnd voltage connections - line side control power input feeding a Frame 4 DG1 VFD training lab enclosure. 100x differential probe for voltage and i30 100mv/amp for the current probe. VFD was running at 60Hz. Any more information would remove the challenge! I’ll post hints / answers soon!😁 #EWT #VFDTRAINING #VFDSERVICE

P2 : ELECTRO-PNEUMATIC CONTROL After doing some experiences, we can conclude that: Pneumatic system can be made using logic circuit, like AND and OR, with a different logic from the electrical logic circuit. NO (Normally Open) valve in normal condition is opened will block the air flow when it depressed and NC (Normally Close) valve in normal condition is closed will let the air flow through it when depressed. Cylinders can be controlled indirectly using roller level valve.
