Scale models are a great alternative due to their cost-effectiveness and flexibility; you can easily transport them to trade shows and adapt them to align with current strategies. At Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, we chose to showcase the Pharma workflow, and this is the impressive result. Some key takeaways: 💸 It's been a challenging year across the industry, budgets have been squeezed, and companies are working tirelessly to do more with less. 🤞 The innovation doesn't stop and offers hope for future generations that we can improve the lives of those who suffer from some of the rarest conditions. 🤝 Small and midsize vendors are keener than ever to collaborate and partner to provide best-in-breed solutions which work harmoniously with each other. Is it too soon to start thinking about Christmas and the end of 2024? We are putting up our Christmas tree in the office this week and finalising the food order for our Company Christmas dinner, so at Oxford Biosystems we are certainly getting in the Christmas spirit! But, before we start our celebrations, we should also take time to reflect on the past year. Like many companies, especially the smaller companies and not only those in our industry, we have found 2024 has been another challenging year. We work in a market that has seen many changes since the start of the pandemic. We also see the challenges brought by legislation in our industry – the changes required to products to meet IVDR requirements, the need for MHRA registration and the start of the UKCA requirements. As a distributor, we greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our Suppliers across the world. The business relationships we have built with all of them are stronger than ever and we are looking forward to another great year in 2025. Our wonderful team at Oxford Biosystems has met all our challenges this year with enthusiasm and amazing team spirit.
