And here I am, back after many nights of sleep (some better than others). Did you know that the temperature of the room can have a significant impact on the quality of your sleep? Lately, we've been dealing with some unexpected challenges, including moving between houses due to delays with our new home. During one of our stays, we noticed that the bedrooms were quite cool because the fireplace was heating the main living area, keeping the furnace off (a realization that came later). Surprisingly, it turns out that cooler rooms can actually promote better sleep – the colder, the better, and it's okay to bundle up warmly.
