People new to the medical sales industry always ask me the same question: ‘What’s the biggest piece of advice you’d give someone starting out?’ I don’t think you can go wrong if you focus on these 3 things: 1. Be genuinely curious - listen really well and ask questions with the genuine desire to learn (about them/their practice/their team) 2. Go and see any case/procedure that you have the opportunity to see. This is a no-brainer. There is no better way to get to know your product, your customer and their team than by seeing them in action. 3. Shadow the best reps in your company (this is gold - don’t be too proud to watch/learn and model what the best do) The salespeople I see get up to speed quickest are the ones doing these things. It’s you company’s responsibility to onboard you, but it’s your attitude to learning that will make you a winner! #medicaldevices #newbies #bephenomenal

🌟 Growth, Learning, and Excellence with Sales Representatives Concept Medical 🌟 Recently, I had the pleasure of conducting a Professional Excellence session for the Senior Sales Representatives of Concept Medical, a company that produces life-giving products. The challenge these representatives face is immense—after hours of waiting, they get just 3 minutes to pitch their product to cardiologists. This means mental health, a growth mindset, and a sharp, solution-oriented pitch are critical to success. Here’s a quick breakdown of the program: 🎯 Desired Outcomes: 1. Clear & Open Communication – Both with doctors and within teams. 2. Crafting a concise, impactful pitch that addresses cardiologists’ needs. 3. Building ownership and accountability, pushing beyond comfort zones, and discovering creative ways to expand the business. 💡 Process: The first three days covered product knowledge, and on the fourth day, we dove deep into a skill enhancement session led by me. We began by working on their growth mindset—helping them understand the importance of stepping out of comfort zones through experiential learning activities. The real game-changer? An activity that challenged them to think beyond assumptions, embrace open communication, and realize the importance of thorough research about their audience (the cardiologists). Participants gained key insights into the power of trust and relationship-building, how to handle objections with facts, and crafting a pitch that doesn’t just list features but provides real, solution-based value. 🎉 Takeaways: • Open communication is essential—not just with doctors but within teams. • Pitching with a solution-oriented approach is what matters. • Handling Objections. • Ownership & accountability drive success. • Constantly push your limits—comfort zones don’t grow sales!
