We are delighted to be represented at this year’s #UKHealthTechConference by our Director of Life Science Partnerships, Carolyn Heaney, who’ll be attending the event on Tuesday 1 October.    Precisia Outcome Analytics as a Service uses the award-winning C2-Ai clinical risk-adjustment platform to generate evidence on the impact of interventions in a real-world setting.  Our established solution uses validated algorithms to provide evaluation of patient outcomes following the deployment of a new technology.    C2-Ai uses validated algorithms to generate outcome analytics based on clinical risk.  The platform can provide near-real-time evaluation of patient outcomes following the introduction of innovations for patients admitted to hospital.  The platform can also evaluate existing data sets to provide evidence of impact.    This is unique because it uses clinical risk-adjustment, using already existing coding data - accounting for differences in case mix, so that health tech and their healthcare partners know the result is relevant for the patient population.  This evidence of effectiveness in real-world settings can provide the basis for decision-making about value, future deployment and scaling.    C2-Ai’s technology platform has the power to be a central and uniquely valuable component of the new Government’s NHS Mission and 10-year health plan - helping life sciences and health tech contribute to the successful delivery of the Government’s long-term goals for health as well as short-term NHS recovery.    Look out for Carolyn on Tuesday and grab her for a chat if you’d like to hear more 😊 

#VistaHealth recently had the privilege of co-facilitating the Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) Market Access Committee’s Annual Strategy Workshop, aimed at setting a strategic direction for 2025 by addressing priority MedTech market access challenges across Asia-Pacific. The session opened with APACMed’s Anirudh Sen presenting on the Committee’s achievements in 2024, highlighting progress in areas such as #ValueBasedHealthcare and #DigitalHealth policy. Anthony Morton-Small, Managing Director at Vista Health followed with insights into industry trends and evolving access issues, setting the context for participants to effectively prioritise key challenges. Through a mix of presentations and breakout discussions, technology groups — including digital health, medical devices, and in-vitro diagnostics — worked collaboratively to identify focus areas such as harmonised #reimbursement, #ReaWorldEvidence integration and value-based pricing. Special thanks to the APACMed and Vista Health teams for making this workshop a huge success, and to all members who contributed to these essential discussions, helping to guide the Market Access Committee’s 2025 workplan and future initiatives. A fascinating couple of days LSX in London. There was no shortage of insight at the intersection of MedTech, BioTech and HealthTech for digital health.  It was great to hear from speakers from Pharma like Gregoire Guillet from Servier, Beth Wolff from Lundbeck, Dominic James from MSD and Ventsislav Dobrev from our partner Ypsomed AG talking about the challenges and opportunities that Digital Health presents. Great insights too on the Medtech side from speakers like Thomas Hummel from Fresenius Kabi and Aneta Gawlowska from Medtronic. Key takeaways for me include:  ✅ Everyone is still searching for the right Digital Health business models that are sustainable, scalable and ideally independent of the core medical device or drug revenue ✅ The fragmented healthcare ecosystem means that there are a lot of friction points that slow adoption; partnering across the ecosystem will be a key part of everyone's future strategy ✅ Start small but plan to be able to scale fast - platform strategies will be essential Thanks all for a great event!
