The fast-paced life and influence of social media often leaves us blindsided to guarding our mental health and this is blowing up into a large problem. 😐 🤝 We as a team at the cohort made a humble attempt at trying to understand the depth of the mental health situation, the scale of the problem and probable solutions which can be a differentiator in the current market.💎 In the process these are certain interesting insights we discovered: 🌊 Understanding mental health requires deep context. Physical, social, psychological, spiritual and intellectual wellbeing all have an important part to play in building context. 🏋️♂️ Introducing a product as a 'gym' for a healthy mind over a 'Hospital' for an ill mind makes a trustworthy proposition. 🎤 Verbalizing emotions helps activate areas of the brain that help us calm down and process emotion in a healthy way. Thus, the product must provide a pathway to communicate your emotions effectively to the right people. 🙂 The product should establish a friendship with your user. Users are not comfortable to turn to strangers to discuss their problems no matter how much of an expert they might be. ➖ Crossing the line of personalization to over personalization in a product for mental health can be offensive and intrusive.
