It can precisely locate where and how the radiopharmaceutical is acting. Project Thyropix was sponsored by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. The research was conducted by the 1. lékařská fakulta UK, Fakultní nemocnice v Motole, the Czech Metrology Institute, Radalytica a.s. and ADVACAM Cameras. ThyroPIX is better than standard imaging methods because it ✅gets closer to the concerned area ✅offers higher resolution image ✅scans the thyroid gland in a fraction of the time ✅is small and mobile. The device is not yet ready for commercial use. The head needs to be modified to get even closer to the neck, and further software development is also planned. "Excited to share that I've recently completed a research project as a part of ReachSci Hackathon, focused on evaluating the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of phone-linked biosensors for detecting MicroRNA 184 in the saliva of OSCC patients.
