The actual uplift (or tensile) load capacity of the pile foundations is determined by Pile Load Test. Purpose of the Pile Load Test is to determine behavior of the soil-pile system subjected to axial uplift test load. NPCC carried out the test to ensure the excellent quality of the foundations implemented for the 380 kV transmission lines within the NEOM project plan. Because quality and safety are important, we at NPCC work to provide the highest quality and safety requirements according to the specifications and standards of the Saudi Electricity Company. NPCC a story will never ends.

🌟My First Project in Sultanate of Oman! 🌟 I'm thrilled to share the successful completion and approval of my first project in Oman by Nama Electricity Distribution – MiCOM P442 Distance Relay Protection Setting for the Wadi Saa - Sellaheyyah Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL). A distance relay in power systems is a type of protective relay that detects faults on transmission lines by measuring the impedance (distance) between the relay and the fault. It operates by comparing the measured impedance to preset thresholds, enabling fast and accurate fault isolation to protect equipment and maintain system stability. This work is a key step in enhancing the reliability and protection of Oman’s power grid. Looking forward to more exciting challenges to come! #SultanateofOman #Nama #NamaGroup #NamaElectricityDistribution #PowerGrid #Protection #ProtectionSetting #DistanceRelay #OHTL #TransmissionLine #MiCOM #Substations #Energy #ETAP #PowerSystem #RelayProtection #ElectricalEngineering #ProjectCompletion #Approval #Milestone #Achievement

In the same year, Mannesmann contracted ILF to provide design services for the Turkish section of the Iraq–Turkey Pipeline (ITP). Additionally, ILF was tasked with assuming responsibility for the hydraulics of the entire 1,000 km system under a further contract from the Iraq National Oil Company (INOC). ILF’s success in these contracts not only enabled ILF to enter the Middle Eastern and Turkish markets, but also to apply ILF’s pipeline expertise on an international scale for the first time. In addition, assuming a leading role in the field of Pipeline Engineering, which had previously been dominated by American companies, ILF was also able to establish this field in German-speaking countries. ILF’s pipeline expertise was developed with determination and purpose during ILF’s early years. Initially focused on oil and gas pipelines, it was rapidly expanded to include pipelines for other media. This expertise was instrumental for ILF being awarded the contract for the Riyadh Water Transmission System (RWTS) in 1977. Shocks and electrocutions occur where physical barriers are not in place to prevent contact with the wires. When dump trucks, cranes, work platforms, or other conductive materials (such as pipes and ladders) contact overhead wires, the equipment operator or other workers can be killed. If you do not maintain the required clearance distances from powerlines, you can be shocked and killed. (The minimum distance for voltages up to 50kV is 10 feet. For voltages over 50kV, the minimum distance is 10 feet plus 4 inches for every 10 kV over 50kV.) Never store materials and equipment under or near overhead powerlines. aramco Public Investment Fund (PIF) Alat WSP in the Middle East Jacobs Ma'aden Ministry of Energy ROSHN l روشن Qiddiya | القدية ENOWA NEOM Air Products ACWA Power Red Sea Global SAUDI AIRLINES Alstom Saudi Electricity Company Mace #electrical #electricalsafety #PIF #Airproducts #Riyadh #jeddah #hiring #NEOM #ROSHN #Vision2030 #PIFprojects #Trojena #RedSeaproject #acwapower #Diriyah #SaudiArabia #Amaala

The dynamics of the GCC power market continue to be fascinating! After the F3 award in Abu Dhabi … there was almost 4 years where no CCGT IPP was awarded in the GCC. However, the recent increase in demand growth and continued desire to decommission oil plants means there is now 17GW either under tender or active consideration 😲 . CCGTs are complex projects and there are limited EPC contractors and developers that can execute them … made only more difficult by the 4-year hiatus in awards which means their focus has been elsewhere. These assets will have technical life extending beyond 2050 and net-zero targets mean that assessment of operating pattern (which drives maintenance costs) and post-PPA assumptions about potential CCS conversion will need to be carefully considered. It is a developer’s market and EWEC, SPPC, Kahramaa & KAPP are going to have compete to attract developer interest !

Boskalis installs large platform at Qatar offshore Oil Project #OilandGas #Procurement #Infrastructure #Engineering #Supplychain #Procurement #Boskalis, a Global leader in #Dredging and #Offshore services, has successfully installed the Gallaf GE Central Processing Platform (#CPP) topside at the Al Shaheen field offshore #Qatar. The installation, a critical phase of Qatar’s offshore energy expansion, was completed using the company’s semi-submersible heavy transport #vessel, #Forte, according to a statement from Boskalis. The installation was carried out using a dynamic positioning (DP) float-over operation, a precise and complex procedure. During the operation, the Forte carefully manoeuvred the 17,818-tonne CPP topside into position over the pre-installed jacket. Once aligned, the vessel was ballasted to lower the topside onto the jacket, completing the installation. This project marks a significant milestone for Boskalis, as the Gallaf CPP topside represents the heaviest cargo ever loaded onto Forte using the skid-on method. This method, which involves sliding the topside from the quayside onto the vessel’s deck via a rail system, took place at the HOC yard in South Korea. The Gallaf installation is the second DP float-over installation completed by Forte in 2024, following the successful installation of the Jerun A topside in Malaysia earlier this year. The Al Shaheen field, one of Qatar’s largest oil fields, is undergoing extensive development to enhance its production capabilities. Boskalis’s role in this project highlights its expertise in complex offshore transport and installation services, further solidifying its position as a key player in global offshore energy projects. Boskalis continues to contribute to significant offshore developments worldwide, leveraging its technical capabilities and advanced fleet to support the energy transition and sustainable maritime operations.
