WTF Moments: When Numbers Align Without You Even Trying Here’s the thing: the only thing I intentionally chose was the launch date and time for #HolographicVisionary Partners, LLC—12/12/2024 at 1:44 PM. I picked it because 12 has been my favorite number since I was a little kid, symbolizing balance, harmony, and completeness. That’s it. But today, on train NJ Transit 3844, something happened that feels way bigger than coincidence. Check this out: - The train ends in 44, tied to stability, legacy, and growth—qualities deeply connected to my vision. - It was on track 2, and I randomly sat in the 6th row (half of 12) in the 2nd seat, both tied to collaboration and balance. - The timing? 12:21 to 1:53 PM. 12:21 reflects my favorite number 12 and 21, my birthdate. And the ride ends 9 minutes after 1:44 PM—a nod to my birth month, September. None of this was planned. None of it was intentional. But in this moment, I can’t help but feel this synchronicity is more than just numbers. Maybe it’s my parents, who have passed, whispering, “You’ve got this. Trust yourself. Enjoy life.” Sometimes, moments like this remind us to pause, reflect, and feel the quiet reassurance in the patterns around us. As the year winds down, I’ve found myself reflecting on the trail I’ve walked in 2024—a mix of adventure, growth, and cherished memories. Personally, it’s been a year of focusing on what truly matters: traveling with my kids while they’re still young enough to enjoy tagging along, prioritizing health, and meeting up with friends to create memories that will last a lifetime. These moments remind me why the journey is as important as the destination. Professionally, I took the plunge into the world of entrepreneurship and started my own venture, Beyond Axis. It’s been a step beyond the corporate world—a chance to create something meaningful, make an impact, and maybe even leave a legacy. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from my family and friends (After all, I’m a Gujrati, and entrepreneurship is in our blood! 😄). Now, it feels like I’m at base camp—time to pitch the tent, sip a warm drink, and enjoy the view of the trail behind me. Chaos! Last year when we ventured to start our own entity it was full of Chaos! Obviously in the beginning we had good deal of information on what we wanted to accomplish, and we were quite clear on our Vision. However, the market uncertainties and initial failures kept knocking us back to the wall! The most important thing what as a startup we did is - we stopped seeking too much of clarity of the situation and started giving our commitment to make things work! We learnt it in our way that "Chaos and Uncertainty are best friends of a Startup!" Which will make us thrive hard and give our best to excel in our goals! Who would have thought that - The idea which started on a causal coffee break! The plan which was jotted on a dinner table paper napkin! And the team who stood with me for a decade through the thick and the thin! All put together builds an entity and here we stand tall at the first milestone celebrating the First birthday of our baby – “Agnile Technologies”! Amazing! It was an action-packed year, nothing less than raising a baby where each moment was filled with surprises! every small stuff made us to feel the joy and every tiny hurdle made us to feel like climbing a mountain! But what we enjoyed the most is ‘The Journey Of Raising An Organisation!’ Now, at the end of year ONE! When I recap what we achieved? Our both verticals ‘Product House’ and ‘Service House’ are doing extremely great and It’s really satisfying as these accomplishments were done when the market is facing severe headwind with various Geopolitical & Technological uncertainties! We were positive in using the headwind and steering our organization to takeoff! Now it’s time to convert the startup into a scaleup! I can remember this day like it was yesterday. April 2020 during the lockdown. I’m not a fan of posting pictures or videos of myself so I think I grabbed my sweet son to make myself a little more comfortable. While my kids were digging holes in the backyard unattended, I was inside embarking on a new (post corporate) career in recruiting. We had to announce our wins virtually that day. I was hustling to make myself known by closing big deals. And I did - I closed some big deals. Second biggest deal in the firm’s history in fact. But still, my cup wasn’t full. My soul wasn’t right. There was no joy. I realized that although recruiting was a more flexible lifestyle which I required if I wanted to be more present with my kids, the pressures on outcomes were perhaps even more intense than in corporate. It was one step closer to where I needed to be, but not the final destination. It is for that reason why I began searching, reading, following inspirational people - how could I have that flexibility but still feel grounded in purpose. Could it be possible to have it all? It is. I found my ‘just right.’ Our careers are an evolution. There is no right strategy at 20 that will be the same right strategy at 40 or 60. But we need to (deserve to) feel at peace with the work we are doing. We deserve to jump out of bed because we can’t wait to get started. We deserve to have peaceful Sunday evenings rather than Sunday scaries.
