Here are a few ideas for your comms team: 🗓️ announce that you are taking part and what those attending can learn/see if they visit your stand. 🎟️ if running a competition or a special data capture campaign, tell your audience about it and how they can take part 🪄 if unveiling a new product/service - give a sneak peek of this by dropping a hint to a special feature, price, or offer 😜 📞 if it's a sales heavy event, set up a calendar for the sales team and encourage people to book in for an in-person 1:1 catch up. Over the past weekend, we participated in our first consumer show of 2024 at Planted Expo and the experience was truly unparalleled. As a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) brand, it is crucial to engage directly with customers, and events like these provide unparalleled opportunities to establish meaningful connections. Meeting customers in person, hearing their real-time feedback, and witnessing their genuine enthusiasm for your products and brand cannot be overstated. We embraced the chance to meet our audience face-to-face and create lasting, positive impressions. The response at the show exceeded our expectations as we showcased our existing products and gave attendees a sneak peek of an upcoming launch. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and we couldn't be happier with how well it went! We had numerous loyal customers visit our booth, share invaluable feedback, and reaffirm their love for Plant Up. It was truly heartening to see their continued support. We also had the pleasure of introducing some skeptical visitors to our products, who confessed to initially hesitating until they tried them at the expo. The power of sampling became evident as they became instant converts and are now enthusiastic about making purchases. This experience served as a great reminder of how sampling can push potential customers to become actual customers. The rush on the first day was thrilling! Despite having a team of just five, we hustled to keep up with the demand. It was a testament to the high demand for our products and the fantastic response we received at the expo. We want to give a huge shoutout to the Planted Expo team for organizing such a seamless event.
