Testing continues across New Zealand, and our teams have been on a four day South Island road trip as we work towards launching our One NZ Satellite TXT service. Reuben Billings, Head of Product Development, caught up with Queenstown retail lead Max Maynard in the mountains south of beautiful Glenorchy near Queenstown. This is where iconic scenes for Lord of the Rings were filmed, now satellite messaging has been tested. It’s really important that we get out into the far reaches of Aotearoa as part of our efforts to enable mobile coverage via space and our teams have been testing in stunning locations.
