When we say “Africa has a leadership crisis” the knee-jerk response from most is to now posture as the leader their country needs... The way I see it, it’s not so much about a few leaders needing to lead the people but rather about each individual learning to lead themselves first (integrity, responsibility, accountability, agency) - before even trying to lead anyone else.
