Best invest in Building and talking about Fusion power, space, maritime propulsion systems and industry as data centres are. Great Headline, Guardian on Nuclear fission. https://lnkd.in/g8sMZtpR People talk about Nuclear (meaning Fission) and fail to discuss fusion. https://lnkd.in/ge_aeX7M The nuclear fission industry is ignorant of what's happening around it. It must pull its collective uranium heads out of the sand and prepare to enter the commercially growing fusion energy industry. Fission is moving towards obsolescence at an ever-increasing pace, as it is "out of step, out of time, out of place, and soon to be out of Fuel" and merely temporary. https://lnkd.in/gbd_mZqk By 2028, Helion is expected to start producing electricity from its first fusion commercial power plant, which will provide electricity to Microsoft. The plant will produce at least 50 MWe after an initial ramp-up period. https://lnkd.in/gY9J3MQY Now, see what is happening in the world of the fusion industry. https://lnkd.in/g9hMBD7a As fission trebles, fuel shortage is increasingly real, https://lnkd.in/gze5rwpr

🌍 Last month I had the privilege of attending the Green Transition Forum with some of Enthela's team members - Martin Nedev and Борислава Христова. This forum brought together dedicated visionaries and leaders catalyzing the net-zero transformation of economies and industries. It provided a stage for open discussions on the economic, technological, and social futures impacted by the Green Deal. As the founder of Enthela, it was incredibly valuable to listen to the diverse discussions on the economic, technological, and social futures impacted by the Green Deal. Key takeaways: 🔹 Cross-sector collaboration for sustainable development. 🔹 Innovative solutions for reducing carbon footprints. 🔹 Policy and regulation's critical role in a green economy. Special thanks to the organizers and speakers for their invaluable insights. Looking forward to applying these learnings and collaborating with fellow professionals to drive the green transition forward! 🌱💡

The Dutch saying is: ‘Grote stappen snel thuis’. Translation: Big steps will get you to your destination quickly. I am privileged to be an advisor of these two guys. Their startup Hydryx is developing a software/hardware soluton to optimize methane capture from landfills. Even in the comparatively well organized Dutch waste management ecosystem, the old landfills, long closed, are still emitting significant amounts of the very potent greenhouse gas methane. This methane is supposed to be run through a generator where it can be converted into energy and the less potent CO2. But in most cases the methane isn’t fully captured and the generator is idle for more than 50% of the time. Hydryx is looking to significantly mitigate that problem by implementing an ingenious system of sensors, actuators and big data software. There is significant interest from waste management companies in the Netherlands in what this young team of mathematicians, engineers, and analysts are up to. Taking their solution to other European countries where landfills contain more foodwaste (and hence emit even more methane) would be the next logical step. And taking it to open landfills in developing countries is the holy grail. The amount of greenhouse gas avoided per dollar invested appears to be staggering. I am particularly interested because I have long held the view that eliminating greenhouse gas emissions from waste management (about 4% of the global total) is the lowest hanging fruit. If you use it for energy generation it actually has a very positive business case, irrespective of greenhouse gas credits. The early signs are promising, this is a really talented team and they deserved to win this recognition. They are taking the big steps that will get us expediently closer to our destination of zero emissions.
🎉 Yesterday was an incredible day! Hydryx proudly won the Climate Tech Summit Benelux in the Carbon Solutions category! 🚀🌍 The expert jury's decision in our favour was based on the scale of the problem we are tackling, the impact we can have and the scalability of our low-cost solution. It’s amazing to see our efforts already being recognised at this level. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with investors and mission-driven entrepreneurs, all working towards a sustainable future 🌱 Big congratulations to the other amazing winners: Carbon Equity, Mosa Meat, Maeve , iwell & BlueAlp. Onwards and upwards! 🙌✨ Thanks for hosting such an impactful event Leopold, Gideon, Paulina, Edwin & Harm. Looking forward to the next edition!

🚀 Exciting News: We're Moving to a New Domain! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce the next step in our journey of growth and innovation – our company is officially switching to a brand-new domain name: Nobon.com! 🎉 This transition is a result of months of strategic planning and teamwork. Our name NOBON represents our vision of NO carBON and our overarching goal of leading the green transition. At the same time, No(n)bon, which is French for no good, is a reference to our use of carbon finance for good. Securing this new domain marks a significant milestone as we continue to strengthen our brand and expand our presence in the carbon markets and networks. More than just a new address, this change represents a long-term investment in our mission and values. It aligns with our commitment to innovation and positions us one step closer to cementing our role as a key leader in driving the future of sustainable markets. We couldn't be more excited about this progress. This new domain is just the beginning of even bigger things to come. 🌱 Stay tuned as we continue to build, grow, and innovate for a better, greener future!
