Truck stop full? Not a problem—just think of the on-ramp as your VIP pit lane: slow and steady. Meanwhile, the off-ramp is basically NASCAR’s version of a rodeo—wild and fast. Plan your trip, park smart, and break like a champ. #ProfessionalDrivers #RoadSafety #StrategicRest #TruckLife

These Anthem 70-inch sleepers have joined the Skip Barber Racing School (SBRS) fleet, ensuring their race cars, tools, and equipment travel seamlessly across 8 primary racetracks nationwide. Our #MackAnthem trucks are more than transporters; they're symbols of reliability, efficiency, and visual excellence on the racing circuit. 🏎️🚚 The SBRS Anthems are also equipped with Bendix Wingman Fusion collision avoidance systems, and #MackCommandSteer, a variable steering-assist system that mitigates steering feedback from uneven terrain such as dips, ruts and potholes. Command Steer reacts to those inputs by smoothing the steering response and reducing steering wheel “kicks.” This results in a smoother experience and less fatigue for driver. For my racing, track day and off-road colleagues - What do you see as the most pressing need in the racing and off-road safety market today? Is it the proper implementation of UTV 5-6 point harnesses and fire systems, the continuous evolution of driver suits and helmets, or something else? What stands out as the most critical safety issue in your opinion?

June 25th was the annual, iconic "Race to the Clouds" - the race up Pikes Peak. Ever since it was first won by an electric car, I've been drawn to this race. The race pinnacle is at 14,115 feet (4.3 Km), which means that battery electric drivetrains have a unique advantage, since they don't depend on high oxygen counts for combustion like internal combustion engines do. "As the drivers climb toward the summit, the thin air slows reflexes and saps competitor’s mental and muscle strength in addition to robbing internal combustion engines of up to 30% of the power they are capable of at the Start Line." This seems to be the year of the electric pickup truck, as both a Rivian R1T and a Ford Lightning will race this year. There are two Hyundai Ionic 5 N entries too. I keep hoping a Class 8 electric truck (or two or three) will take a stab at the mountain. That would be incredible! Edit: results are in! https://lnkd.in/dJq837GE EVs shatter records at Pike’s Peak: Ioniq 5N, Rivian and Ford SuperTruck impress https://lnkd.in/dHy8yJNW #StopBurningStuff

Not 2 B MISSED, I Still have a few " Front Row Tickets" available. I got an advanced copy of some of the answers for the up coming interview; 1) Yes; we are currently working very diligently with our chassis supplier on a new design for introduction in either 2027 or 2028, but most definitely by 2029 or 2030., fingers crossed. 2) The third manufacturer search has been underway for a considerable number of years now and we continue to interview potential vendors whose product would mate up with our High-Bread platform and have the ability to spend $100,000,000.00 plus to be an integral part of our salvation. 3) Considerable time has been invested into the "off-season" plan for getting our entertainment series in front of an 'international' market / fan base. We are even considering bringing / introducing our Vintage Open Wheel product as a support race for F1 at COTA, Mexico City, Brazil and Las Vegas, but I can't say much more than that right now. 4) No comment; the Fast Friday Boost Scandal back on May 21st, 2021 was handled poorly on my part and I need to maintain "plausible deniability." ... "is this mic on?"

(𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙙) 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨 Racing is hard. Winning is even harder, especially when you choose to race a vehicle built by a manufacturer that publicly withdrew from competition, scrapping all tooling, parts, and drawings that led to world championships. No support of money, no supply of factory-engineered performance parts, no technical assistance – and vastly outnumbered by the competition racing vehicles with all of the above. That was the scenario facing racers in the ‘70s and early ‘80s, and yet there were racers and teams who chose to race Ford vehicles regardless. Teams and drivers like Bob Glidden, the Wood Brothers, Don Nicholson, Bud Moore Engineering, the Elliott brothers, Jack Roush, and many others. These folks are among the most admirable Ford racers imaginable. They didn’t race for a paycheck, they raced to win. And what they chose to race was born of passon and loyalty. Unlike the majority of today’s hired guns, they weren’t paid to race a particular brand, they chose to race that brand. And that brand was Ford. Their blood truly was Ford blue. #bluebloods #ford #fordhistory #fordperformance #fordperformanceracingschool #fordracing #knowyourroots #racing #roots #waybackwednesday

Racing drivers often don't make great road drivers. Safe progress around corners is all about visibility, not clipping the apex which is a common myth. I quietly grimace when people tell me how they "clip the apex" on public roads. Let me state this … "racing lines" are for race tracks. Effective and safe cornering on public roads is actually far more complex as there are more unknowns, possibilities and permutations on every corner. It’s another skill set entirely. #forgettheapex #advanceddriving #driverperformance Join DM for advanced driving tips each week https://lnkd.in/eQbmQsBd
