"Center Flow" This animation came about while testing the major new version of Tooll3 that is currently in alpha and will completely change a lot of the basic structure of the software and will also prepare the way for the port to other OS', Metal, Vulkan... YAY! :-) I don't have my custom nodes available in that version yet and so I just used factory nodes. Or almost :-) I wanted to test if creating a custom node is possible already and it indeed is, so the chromatic aberation is a modified version I plan to further customise to my needs. Overall, it was astonishingly stable and several bugs got fixed by the amazing domportera within minutes - wow! :-) This new branch "Main" not only opens much faster, it also is getting rid of the separate starting application and many other structures that made it hard to share projects and extensions. Good times! Try these quick tips to create beautiful 3D scenes you can share or use in game development with Niantic Studio 1. Safety first! Make sure you're in a safe place to focus, move around and get creative. 2. Plan your scan. Thinking through your camera movements and blocking will help ensure your scan is complete and gorgeous. 3. 'Trace a daisy.' The best Splats are captured from close up and at a distance. Find a center point for your scan and circle around your it as you begin scanning. As you scan imagine you're drawing petals on a daisy, moving closer and further away from the mid-point all the way around circle. 4. Scan from 3 heights. Try to include full scans at low, mid, and high points of view for best results.
