Men don't by skincare products because of this 1 small thing... Judgement. Men fear using skincare routines due to judgment. They feel like people will call them vain, superficial or feminine. This is the main driver on why men don’t use skin care products. They feel like it will make them less masculine. However, deep down, men are insecure about their skin. They just don’t speak about it or fix it due to fear of judgment. So, how do we counter this? We create an ad around this angle. Here is one of our brief drafts for one of our Male Skincare Clients. Hook Structures: Hook A: Common Fake Belief Amongst Market Hook B: Sandbox Test From A Very Popular Reddit Post (liked by a lot of men) Hook C: Direct Response Question. Based on my own life and beauty experience thus far, I believe that simple is best. You don’t need complicated skincare routines, nor too many products. You don’t need to double cleanse - that is, if you have a good, effective cleanser in the first place. A new beauty product might not be better than the ‘old’ one that works for your skin. There are new trends on TikTok, endless stream of celebrity beauty brands, but are we better off and wiser thanks to it all? I would dare to say not necessarily. https://lnkd.in/eS39HM5y

Breaking Stereotypes: Skincare Is for Men This International Men’s Day, let’s talk about a stereotype that’s long overdue for change: the idea that skincare isn’t “manly.” For years, men have been told that skincare is unnecessary, frivolous, or even “not for them.” But the truth is, everyone—regardless of gender—deserves to feel confident in their own skin. Skincare isn’t about vanity; it’s about self-care. Taking care of your skin is as essential as maintaining your physical and mental health. Whether it’s applying sunscreen, hydrating your skin, or addressing specific concerns, these practices are for anyone who wants to look and feel their best. At Kass, we believe in breaking barriers and creating products that work for all skin types—no labels, no limits. Because confidence doesn’t have a gender. This International Men’s Day, let’s normalize men embracing self-care routines without judgment. To all the men out there: Your skin matters too. Ps: and men’s skin care doesn’t mean only slapping charcoal on your face! Xd #InternationalMensDay #SkincareForMen #BreakTheStereotypes #SelfCareMatters
