Developed to support its Whole Person Development lifelong learning philosophy, Melco’s Back to School program offers colleagues who left school prematurely with the opportunity to gain their High School Diploma in-house by undertaking formal education alongside their employment at Melco. Recently, with the support of Escola Seong Fan da Associação Commercial de Macau, six Back to School program enrollee colleagues with outstanding academic scores visited Anhui province on a history and culture study tour sponsored by Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEDJ). The experience served to further enhance colleagues’ knowledge gained from Company’s Splendors of China program for instilling national pride and patriotism through education and awareness. Furthermore, to promote and encourage the Chinese virtue of caring for others, students paid visits to groups in need in collaboration with local charitable groups. #Melco #BacktoSchool #SplendorsofChina
