Every time I vote, I think about those who sacrificed to secure this precious right. We owe it to them and to future generations to make our voices heard. There is so much at stake in this election—from women’s health and reproductive freedom to economic support for caregivers and families to basic democratic principles and values. And that’s just to name a few things. Study the issues, vote for what you believe in, and encourage the people around you to vote, too. Everything you need to know about how and where to vote is available at vote.org.

Yes, voted yesterday last day early voting. The vibe, was ELECTRIC ⚡️⚡️⚡️ infectious, a palpably hopeful and grateful small little honeycomb of American citizens, smiling at one another, chatting first as strangers then friends within a few minutes. RINGING A BELL, each time a 1st time voter appeared: the young man so caught off guard by the clapping, I thought he was going to start to cry, from this outpouring of support. What a beautiful sight. 🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 CHEERING ON ~ anyone who has not yet voted: PLEASE, PLAN to vote on TUESDAY, November 5th. YOU MATTER YOUR VOTE MATTERS America Matters.

Unfortunately, due to the format that those who are blind or visually impaired need is not available for example, there is no braille available, electronic devices do not have the capability of Text to Speech screen reading software also due to privacy issues from what I understood from before no one is allowed to assist you in the voting booth for your vote That you have to be there by yourself Here’s a good example. They have Mac machines with dots on the buttons, but the machine does not talk to tell the blind person what they are selecting I have tried to vote in the past, but unfortunately, I was unable to because of the format issue that does not exist for people like us today And the way privacy and security concerns are addressed today. It’s even more impossible to have assistance with voting due to the past issues with voting tampering and other issues to that nature I sure hope I gave useful and helpful information in my post

I agree with your comments but make them common sense in the fact who pays? The tax payer is already burden enough. Even being retired I find myself debating to go back to work. There is a lot at stake but the elderly already paid their tax when they worked, and I find them paying again in retirement, shouldn’t we not tax retiree’s ? I am sorry your ideas are not within the current thoughts. We have pay for people coming across the border, we have to pay for their health, their schooling of children, housing, the America I grew up you worked when you came to this country, yes you do help them once they start work and contribute. My other notion you cannot just give people something, they must and should work for it one form or another. I know you do a lot of good but you can’t ask Americans give more there at the breaking point!

Thank you Melinda for being a leader in your own right. Your choice of a good leader such as Madam President Kamala Harris is not only good for America but for the whole world. America is a country with influence through its foreign policy position such as climate change and the right of women and girls around the world. The international community is waiting with bated breath because one candidate has proven himself not to be good with bilateral relationships the last time he was president. #VoteKamalaHarris !!!

I agree! I’m Hopi and black so I often think of my ancestors when I vote. All of the sacrifices they’ve made just to endure for future generations, serving this country in wars like the code talkers did in WWII and the inability to have their voice heard for so long before they were given the right to vote or be considered a “citizen” when they were Indigenous to this land or forced here is baffling. Exercising my right to vote is important and personal to me. There are still hurdles for my family residing on reservations to place their vote easily. The John Lewis Voting Rights Act needs to pass.

- We believe with Trump at the helm, he will enact draconian laws that will outlaw abortion outright nationally as his political apparatus and his surrogates tout... - At the same time, even with Kamala Harris at the helm, an amendment to codify a woman's right to an abortion into our constitution could prove daunting because Democrats require a sizable majority in both the House and Senate to move forward... - Also, her suggestion to rid us of the filibuster (to a simple Senate majority vote) historically has proven difficult... - The Biden Administration proposed a vote by the legislature to appoint four new justices to the Supreme Court who may be amenable to the abortion issue. Many may see this as political, as when attempted by The FDR Administration; a move to 'stack' the court... Consider: 'A judicial 'procedural' upheaval; not a judicial 'political' upheaval.'... 'Solely the female justices of the Supreme Court alone must decide cases related to 'Women's Reproductive Health' for their fellow 'sisterhood' in the citizenry, while their male counterparts either recuse, or even abstain from such cases.'... empathyequalsjustice.com (Four Pages - Three Minute Read) Reference: Thomas Doyle - 'Top' Featured Post - #KamalaHarris
