An audiogram after head injury - even “just” a mild concussion- is not enough. Tests of listening in complex environments are essential to understanding the patient’s symptoms. This is what auditory processing disorder evaluation measures. TLDR: head injury with normal audiogram and complaints of hearing issues? Refer for an APD evaluation.
