Some of the Many Items We Sold or Donated While Decluttering My Grandma’s Home… ⬇ When we were preparing to sell my grandma’s home close to 10 years ago, there was a lot of stuff to sort through including antiques, clothing and kitchen items. We were about to move my grandma into a senior’s home, and it was time to let go of much of the items that wouldn’t be needed in the her new smaller space. Here are just a few of the items we let go of when managing the stuff in her house: ✅ Antique bar cart - Although this was a treasured item, we decided it wasn’t something we could see ourselves displaying so we sold it. ✅ Clothing - We helped her to decide which items were her favourite and donated the items she was no longer comfortable wearing. ✅ Extra photo frames - she only had space to display a few photos in her new smaller space. We had some of our favourite photos stored digitally as well. Decluttering and organizing her belongings made it easier to move her into a senior’s home, and greatly reduced the amount of stuff we had to move out of the space she lived in after she passed away several years ago. If you need some help organizing your space, send me a message or email me at lettherebespace@gmail.com.

🏡✨ Home Staging Tip for a Quick Sale at a Higher Price! ✨🏡 As a Home Stager, my top tip to share with you before putting your property on the market, is to set aside a few days or even weeks for a serious declutter. This won't cost you a penny but can make a huge difference! Here’s what to do: Declutter Deeply: Don’t just get rid of a few items. Aim to donate, throw away, or pack up about 50% of your belongings. Depersonalize: Pack away taste-specific items that may not appeal to everyone. This includes collections like china dolls or thimble collections lol!!, as well as religious artifacts and family photos. Your home should be spacious, clutter-free, light, and neutral to appeal to the widest range of buyers. Happy staging! #HomeStaging #RealEstateTips #Declutter #SellFast #MaximizeValue Feel free to DM for so advice, happy to help!

Here are some bedroom organization hacks👇🏻 ✅ Use decorative baskets and trays to organize things kept on your dresser. A small dish works great for catching loose jewelry. ✅ Place a chest at the end of your bed for storing extra bedding. ✅Underbed storage that slides out is a great option for storing shoes. ✅ Instead of using standing bookshelves that reduce floor space, install bookshelves higher up on the walls. ✅ You can use simple hooks that hang over the doors for holding frequently used bags and purses. ✅ Dust your room once a week. This is a great way to see what you’re actually using and what’s just sitting and literally collecting dust. 📌Consider selling or donating items that aren’t being used, or storing them out of the way to reduce clutter.

Organizing your bedroom drawers is just as important as organizing your closet. Here are a couple of tips you can use to keep your belongings in their proper place. 👕 File fold, into small rectangles, so that you can see everything at a glance. This also allows you to remove an item without making a mess in the drawer. 🧦 Roll and store items like socks, underwear, and t-shirts. Store them in rows or layers in your drawer. This maximizes space, reduces wrinkles, and keeps your clothes organized and visible. 🧱 Use drawer dividers to separate your items. This prevents a jumbled mess, keeps categories separate, and makes it easy to find what you need. If you need assistance getting organized, unpacking, or preparing for a move, book your FREE consultation today. #clothing #drawers #declutter #purge #donate #organizingpro #homeorganizer #houstonhomeorganizer #professionalorganizerhouston #hireaprofessionalorganizer #blackprofessionalorganizers #womenowned #NABPO #NAPO #Texas #harriscounty #montgomerycounty #galvestoncounty #iOrganize
