As a mother seeking justice, I've encountered the phrase "case by case basis" many times. While it may seem like a harmless statement, it often closes the door to further discussion and disregards the unique circumstances of each situation. Every case deserves to be heard and understood, not reduced to a label. Let's work towards a system that listens with empathy and advocates for accountability. Join me in standing up for the rights of mothers, women, families, and children. No story should be left untold. #accountability #insight #mothersrights #womensrights #familyrights #childrensrights #JusticeforMarcello #sanfrancisco #cps #childwelfare #stopprotectingabusers #familycourt #mothersrights #decolonizecps #dobetter #sanfrancisco #childwellfare #childabuseprevention #stopprotectingabusers #centerwomenandchildren #familycourt #keepfamiliestogether #domesticviolenceawareness #notalone #keepfighting #childwelfare #stopprotectingabusers #sanfrancisco #womensrights #childrensrights #safety #accountibility #Thoughts #Ideas #Training #Mentoring #Lessons #Learnings #Future #Lifechange #Inspiration #Entrepreneur #Mindfulness #Energy #Coaching #Believe #Brand #CEO #Innovative #SMM #Owner #Selfworth #Sustainability #Health #childabuse #childabuseawareness #abuse #domesticviolence #children #mentalhealth #trauma #sexualabuse #emotionalabuse #survivor #humantrafficking #domesticabuse #childabuseprevention #ptsd #stopchildabuse #cptsd #metoo #narcissisticabuse #abusesurvivor #healing #womenempowerment #child #childtrafficking #childabusesurvivor #humanrights #awareness #rapeculture #savethechildren #mentalhealthawareness #narcissist

Protecting Children's Rights in the Modern Society: Challenges and Solutions In our modern world where technology and globalization play a significant role, the issue of protecting children's rights becomes more relevant and urgent. Children are the future of our society, and we are obligated to ensure their safety, protection, and opportunities for full development. Key Challenges One of the main challenges is cyberbullying among children and adolescents, which is becoming increasingly prevalent. It leaves deep psychological scars and can have long-term consequences for children. Additionally, lack of access to education and healthcare, child labor, and exploitation are also serious issues that require our attention. Pathways to Solutions To protect children's rights, comprehensive measures are necessary. It is important to provide children with access to high-quality education and cultural resources, as well as ensure their access to medical services and social support. The responsibility for protecting children lies with the entire society, and each of us must actively participate in this process. Role of Family and Society The family plays a crucial role in protecting children's rights. It should create a safe and supportive environment for children, teach them healthy relationships and values. However, society also needs to take measures at the legislative and public policy levels to ensure effective protection of children's rights. Conclusion Protecting children's rights is an integral part of our responsibility as citizens and members of society. We must collaborate to create a safe and supportive environment for children, where they can grow and develop safely and happily. Children are the foundation of our future, just like trees planted years ago that now provide shade and other benefits. They need care, attention, and investment to grow and thrive. Education, proper nutrition, good health, and the teaching of practical skills and knowledge should always be a priority. Supporting a child’s development today is a step toward reducing insecurity, poverty, and social problems in the future. Investing in children is investing in a better tomorrow.
Children are the heart of our future, deserving love, care, and access to their basic rights: education, healthcare, and protection. They hold endless potential, and it’s our duty to create a world where every child can thrive. We at AYGF are committed to making this vision a reality. By breaking barriers and advocating for every child’s rights, we work tirelessly to ensure that no child is left behind. Together, let’s build a brighter tomorrow for them. 💙 #WorldChildrensDay #EveryChildEveryRight #AYGF #ChildRights #EducationForAll #Sdg #sustainabledevelopmentgoals

Understanding Parental Rights and Responsibilities (PRR) Article/Blog post by Anastasia Willemse. In South Africa, parental rights and responsibilities concerning a child are delineated in the Children’s Act 38 of 2008. Section 21 of the Act outlines the conditions under which single fathers can obtain Parental Responsibilities and Rights (PRR). According to S21 of the Act, specific requirements must be fulfilled for single fathers to gain PRR. These requirements ensure that PRR agreements are properly formalised, benefiting both the father and the child. #SchoemanLawInc #ParentalRights https://lnkd.in/djKX2HCp

Exploring The Rights of Your Child Your child has rights - The right to be cared for by a responsible parent or parents or other responsible authorised adult caregiver. Your child has the right to free quality education, to nourishing food, shelter, freedom to play in safety and to be safe without threat or actual discrimination, abuse, kidnapping. Violence and all the areas that put a child at risk and become devoid of the freedom, care and happiness that they as our dependents rely on us as responsible adults to provide. The overall view and impression surrounding these articles and indeed all the articles set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, is one that considers the child, regardless of nationality, background, colour, language, religion, disability of any kind to name a few as one that is to be loved, protected and given all the opportunities and experiences involving belonging, dignity, harmony, peace and happiness with a future that allows the child to develop at their optimum and to become a balanced, contributing, valued and valuable member of society. Most countries have signed in agreement to this convention (except the US) and thus governments are obliged to meet all of the 54 articles. Here I will briefly cover articles 3,5,12 and 27. Article number 5 is focused on family guidance as children develop and relates also to article 3 which specifies that a child’s best interest is priority. This means that children need to be fully protected and cared for daily by adults who make laws, those who abide by laws such as the courts, and those who have responsibilities for children at various times of the day, week or any other times such as in the schools and clubs they attend. Entitled to special care and assistance’ as stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, children are provided ‘growth and wellbeing’ in a safe, caring family environment, guided and allowed to develop in understanding, love and complete nurture and harmony. Children who are under the care of the state, the best interests of the child as a priority is fully maintained with consideration of parents/ legal guardians or other adults authorised and legally responsible for the child. Competent and suitable supervision for care and protection of the child in this situation with conformity to the standards set out of the authority are essential. Article 12 sets out the rights of expression. Every child according to their ability have the right to develop their own views and are to be given the opportunity to do so whether verbally, in writing in all matters that affect the child or otherwise. Every child is to be given the freedom to express their views according to their maturity in a court of law on matters that affect the child either directly or indirectly through a representative. All of us as adults have a responsibility to ensure children a safe, free and happy childhood, upholding these and all the rights of the child.

The National Action Plan for #Childminding 2021 – 2028 sets out a phased approach to the regulation and registration of childminders. Central to work under the National Action Plan has been the development of new regulations that are specific to childminders and that are appropriate and proportionate for a home-based setting. The draft regulations set out proposed minimum standards for anyone who provides a childminding service. Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth are holding this public consultation so that as many childminders, parents, representative organisations and other interested individuals/bodies as possible can have their say. Find out how to participate here: https://lnkd.in/d2-UYh_5
