“Sh*t up and take my money!” That's the dream, right? If you run a subscription-based business, that's the magic phrase you want from customers. But how do you get there? Here are three must-know tips to boost your subscription sales: 1. Use Social Proof That Resonates: →Ensure your social proof speaks to your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). →Selling to designers? Show testimonials from top designers. →Targeting CEOs? Highlight statements from influential executives. For example, Framer targets designers, so a shoutout from a top designer will resonate more than one from a CEO who doesn’t use the product. 2. Cut the Sign-Up Friction: →Get customers using your product immediately. →Forget lengthy onboarding explanations. →Let them experience value instantly. Remove the visible trial period. Allow instant access. Introduce an "invisible trial" for them to explore. Then, inform them when it ends. 3. Empower the Customer: →Give customers control over the subscription process. →If they must pay upfront or start a trial, let them choose notification preferences. →Allow them to decide whether they want reminders about billing. Putting them in control reduces anxiety about entering payment details. It's all about reducing the hassle and letting them feel they’re in the driver’s seat.

Ok, hitting y'all with a little 3'fer on the news front (spoiler, saved the best for last): 1️⃣ - Earlier this year, I transitioned from the YouTube team to work on this cross-functional product called Spotlight. I knew it was big, but little did I know how big... 2️⃣ - Today, that big 'ol project launched. Check out HubSpot.com/Spotlight - it's a cheat sheet to our biggest updates across Service Hub, Content Hub, Commerce Hub, and our revamped HubSpot AI. 100+ MAJOR Updates. And what makes this even better, we are not even done, because we will continue to make the product and the content better... we are doing this bad boy 2 times a year, so you'll hear about even MORE new features come Fall. It is never a dull moment when you're a HubSpot user. 3️⃣ - That little hint I dropped a few weeks ago about some big news? I got promoted! 🎉 I'm transitioning from a Senior Producer to a Principal Producer, one of the highest-level IC roles at the company. I'm super excited about my growth and the types of projects that I'll get to work on, like Spotlight. Ok, that's all for now... go play around on the Spotlight website and enjoy all the cool content (especially the videos!) that were made by a stellar creative team!

Not being clear about “who this is for” costs more than you think. Bucket’s website doesn’t make that mistake. Why clarity matters? Well, 1️⃣ The right people stick around. 2️⃣ The wrong people move on. Bucket’s hero and the tagline, “Feature flagging that’s purpose-built for B2B SaaS”, is a great start for the prospect visiting the page. What starts successfully, often leads to: ⭐️ Fewer sales calls with leads who don’t actually need what they offer. ⭐️ Less confusion from support tickets about unrealistic use cases. ⭐️ Clearer priorities for the product team since most sign-ups fit their ideal customer profile. ⭐️ Lower churn because customers aren’t trying to use the product for something it wasn’t designed to do. Sure, it’s tempting to chase sign ups and demo requests by being vague. It might even work. At first. ✅ But chasing volumes and attracting the wrong audience will cost your SaaS time, money, and resources in the long run. .

The difference between satisfaction and loyalty can make or break your SaaS growth👇 Satisfied customers: Are happy with your product but could still leave for a competitor. Loyal customers: Stick around, spend more, and recommend your product to others. Why loyalty matters more: ▶️ Retention over churn: Loyal customers stay with you longer, reducing acquisition pressure. ▶️ Higher LTV: They’re more likely to upgrade, buy add-ons, or renew subscriptions. ▶️ Free marketing: Loyal users don’t just use your product, they promote it. How to build loyalty: ▶️ Deliver value consistently: Make sure your product solves their biggest problems. ▶️ Invest in relationships: Regular check-ins and personalized support go a long way. ▶️ Reward advocacy: Recognize customers who refer others or provide valuable feedback. Satisfaction gets users in the door, but loyalty keeps them coming back. Are you turning satisfied customers into loyal ones?
