Thanks Smudge for having me to chat on all things problem solving! Although Nature and Smudge operate in different industries (Nature: strategic insights and Smudge: software development) it was interesting to see how much our worlds overlapped - particularly in how we get to the heartbeat of a problem and the art of doing this. It's only once we've truly understood the problem that we can then design an appropriate solution - be that collating different data sources and triangulating insights, or building a software solution to meet customer and business needs.

Good user experience means making things as easy as possible for the user. When creating Reportabl. Health and Business Reporting our fundamental goal was to help our users be more effective in their practice. It therefore makes sense that we make it as easy as possible to get set up and start gaining benefit from the reporting. As a user of other SaaS products, I have tried to implement all the things I like, and avoid all the things I dislike about both sign sign up and user experience. The key things for the early stage that we have implemented: - Clear and easy to understand pricing - Real videos of the product, not animated cartoon versions - Trial for free, without putting your credit card in. Then once you hit the reporting, a few actionable KPIs that allows the user to implement and improve their business immediately.
