THE BEDFORDSHIRE business community is ready to play its part in helping Luton to bounce back from the shock news of the proposed closure of the Vauxhall factory in the town. Vauxhall parent company Stellantis announced last week that it plans to shut the plant in Kimpton Road, with the potential loss of 1,100 jobs, and move its manufacturing activity to the factory at Ellesmere Port on Merseyside. Exciting things ahead
Atlanta shines brightly when it is on the world's biggest stage, whether that be the NFL Super Bowl, the FIFA World Cup or a Taylor Swift concert. Now it will have a truly mixed-use anchor at the center of that stage -- the $5 billion Centennial Yards Atlanta project in the area formerly known as the Gulch. Under the leadership of Brian P. McGowan, the Centennial Yards Company is remaking this 50-acre district in the heart of Atlanta into a destination unlike any other in Georgia or the Southeast. Adam Bruns does a masterful job of chronicling this transformation in the latest issue of Site Selection Magazine. We appreciate the recent follow up from the Memphis Business Journal and the resulting article. A few years ago they called us the 'billion dollar company that nobody had hear of', in their feature on Highline Warren. Our reaction then, as now, is that the partners who need to know us definitely do. They rely on us to create solutions for them through our unparalleled talent, footprint, set of capabilities, and unrivaled fill rates. Now that supply chains have normalized and business is once again firing on all cylinders those customers and suppliers depend on Highline Warren more than ever. We create simplicity in a large and fragmented industry and we remove complexity in the supply chain. Our story is simple: We help partners run their business more effectively by shipping at 98.5% fill rates anywhere in the country within 48hrs. Whether it's a full truckload or a single sku, we've got it and will get it to our customer. It shouldn't be a surprise that Highline Warren is growing faster than expected. We're laser focused on helping our partners achieve success by allowing them to focus on their growth, safe in the knowledge that we'll deliver their solutions.
As Highline Warren approaches $2 billion in revenue, the Memphis company few know revs up to its potential.
Lining up growth: Still the local billion-dollar firm no one knows

New National Distribution Centre for Greggs Plans for a new National Distribution Centre for Greggs plc at Symmetry Park, Kettering have been announced by Greggs and Tritax Symmetry. The planning application details proposals for 311,551 sq. ft. of logistics space on a 25.1-acre plot. The unit will be designed to a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard, achieving an EPC A rating and meeting Net Zero Carbon in Construction requirements.
