𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 ⛈️ While the threat of thunderstorms and severe weather looms up and down the East Coast through this evening, the area with the greatest chance of seeing multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms will be northeastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, and southeastern New York. The primary hazard with these storms will be damaging wind gusts upwards of 60 mph but hail greater than 1" in diameter and an isolated tornado will also be possible with the most severe storms. These storms will also contain heavy downpours which may lead to localized flooding and flash flooding in locations where training occurs. Within these areas, there will be isolated pockets where rainfall totals of 3" or more are possible later this evening. #east #eastcoast #northeast #midatlantic #pawx #njwx #njwx #severeweather #severewx #tornado #tornadoes #hail #damagingwind #weather

Testing has been the top priority among organziations I’ve spoken with in 2024. The common factors are having the ability to scheduled tests, send reminder notifications, use out of the box tabletop excercises, and automatically generate audit reports when tests are complete. If you are interested in learning how companies are accomplishing this in one streamlined process, send me a message and let’s set up some time! #continuity #resilience #recovery

𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 ⛈️ While the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk for severe weather in parts of the Carolinas and the Florida Peninsula through later tonight, the greatest threat is with the Enhanced Risk area in parts of the Southern Plains. Within the Enhanced Risk area, which spans from the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles eastward into north-central Oklahoma and south-central Kansas, there's the potential for damaging wind gusts above 60 mph, large hail over 2" in diameter, and a few isolated tornadoes that may become strong. The best opportunity for these severe weather threats will come late this afternoon through sunset as the storms are expected to gradually weaken overnight. #south #southeast #plains #txwx #okwx #kswx #severeweather #severewx #tornado #tornadoes #hail #damagingwind #weather

𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 ⛈️ This afternoon, a line of storms forming in Iowa will move through northeast Missouri, southern Wisconsin, most of Illinois and Indiana, and southern Michigan. These storms will continue their path this evening, gradually dissipating by early Tuesday morning. Some storms may become strong to severe, with the primary threats being potentially damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to 1" in diameter. There is also a possibility of isolated tornadoes. Additionally, heavy downpours are a concern, as individual storm cells could produce up to 1.5" of rain in a short period, potentially leading to localized flooding or flash flooding. #midwest #greatlakes #severeweather #severewx #tornado #tornadoes #hail #heavyrain #flashflooding #weather
