As 2024 wraps up, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what an amazing year it’s been at Mercury! It’s tough to sum it all up in one post, but we’ve grown our team, added some exciting new services, and built incredible partnerships along the way. There’s so much to be proud of. The Mercury Christmas celebrations were a huge success, with both our Australian and Philippines teams celebrating in our respective locations, it truly couldn’t have been a better way to wrap up the year! A special thank you to @canvasandcork in Torquay for hosting our unforgettable 'Paint Your Mate' session—such a fun and creative experience! And to The Kyn in Torquay, your incredible menu and stunning atmosphere never fail to impress. We are so grateful for the continued support of our clients, our dedicated team, our partners and extended network. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here's to an even better 2025! 🎄

🍀☘️ St. Patrick's Day Alert! 🍀☘️ As Sunday approaches, so does the festive occasion of St. Patrick's Day! Whether you're planning to revel in the greenery of parades, enjoy traditional Irish fare, or simply embrace the spirit of the holiday, it's crucial to remember to celebrate responsibly. While St. Patrick's Day is often associated with merriment and perhaps a pint or two, it's essential to prioritize safety, especially when it comes to drinking and driving. Every year, far too many lives are affected by the tragic consequences of driving under the influence. This St. Patrick's Day, let's make a collective commitment to keep our roads safe for everyone. Here are a few simple tips to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration: Designate a sober driver: If you're planning to drink, designate a trusted friend or family member as the designated driver before the festivities begin. This ensures that everyone gets home safely. Utilize alternative transportation: If you don't have a designated driver, consider using alternative transportation options such as taxis, rideshare services, or public transit. Many cities offer discounted or free rides on St. Patrick's Day to promote responsible drinking. Arrange for accommodations: If you're celebrating away from home, plan ahead and book accommodations nearby. Staying overnight eliminates the temptation to drive after consuming alcohol. Be a responsible host: If you're hosting a St. Patrick's Day gathering, ensure that your guests have safe transportation options available. Offer non-alcoholic beverages and encourage guests to pace themselves. Intervene if necessary: If you see someone who is about to drive under the influence, intervene and offer them a safe alternative, whether it's a ride home or a place to stay for the night. Remember, the choices we make on St. Patrick's Day can have long-lasting consequences. Let's celebrate this festive occasion responsibly and ensure that everyone gets home safely. Wishing you all a happy and safe St. Patrick's Day!

Whether you’re planning a relaxing staycation or an adventure away, make the most of your time off. Here are a few ideas to spark some weekend joy: 🍳 Whip Up Something Delicious: Use Claude or Chat GPT to find a new recipe. Cooking can be a delightful way to relax and enjoy some quality time with loved ones. 🚴♀️ Get Moving: Whether it’s a bike ride, a hike, or just a leisurely walk in the park, getting outside and moving your body can do wonders for your mood and energy levels. Need ideas? Ask Perplexity for hiking maps or bike trails! 📚 Dive into a Good Book: If you’ve been putting off that novel or self-help book, now’s the time to get cozy and dive in. Or write your own with a GenAI assistant! 🎨 Get Creative: Break out the art supplies, start a DIY project, or simply doodle. Letting your creative juices flow is a fantastic way to de-stress. 🐾 Spend Time with Your Furry Friends: If you have pets, give them some extra love and attention this weekend. A good game of fetch or a snuggle session can be incredibly rewarding. Remember, the best weekends are the ones where you do what makes you happiest. Have a wonderful and refreshing weekend!
