Last week, we organized a breakfast event together with Mindact.ai ☕ Oskar (fresh out of the hairdresser’s for this special occasion!) spoke about our joint offering, Innovation-as-a-Service, and what such collaboration can entail. "One can innovate for the sake of it, but it doesn't make anyone happier," he stated, emphasizing that our focus lies in goal-driven innovation, rooted in the company's objectives, values, vision, and business plan. Our promise to our clients is that we will make a significant impact (after all, "amazing tech with damn good business impact" is what we live by) and we achieve that when we start understanding the business. From there, we can start tailoring solutions. And by tailoring, we mean everything; workshops, our environmental analysis, digital solutions – everything is customized to fit the client's business. Countdown begins for my second hackathon-like event at Gerresheimer. Next week I will host our Global Key Account team’s two-day workshop in Basel. #Innovation has different faces, and this event is a perfect example of one of them. The spark for the event came from Bertrand Jannon, who wanted to try something new with his team. Joanna Bustos from his team had participated in our event last year and felt that the concept worked. We began the planning about 5 months ago and one of the very first things I did was contact philoneos - future transformation office, my go to agency in innovation support. The topics the teams will be working on next week: - Enhancing collaboration with Global Key Accounts - Developing customer-centric strategies and solutions - Improving internal processes to better serve our clients - Working cross-functionally to bring fresh perspectives 💡 Curious to see what they’ll come up with. This year's theme ‘Innovation Validation,” emphasized the importance of ensuring our innovations address real customer problems. Our process begins with a simple yet powerful idea, often sparked by customer interactions, technological shifts, or new material developments. This begins a process of diligent experimentation and discovery, refining our solutions to meet real-world demands. During the Challenge, 8 teams participated in a four-week Validation Sprint, connecting with customers to test their assumptions and refine their value propositions.
