🎯 #ESDALAB was present at the 5G Techritory Conference in 📍 Riga (Latvia) on 📆 October 30th, on behalf of the Greek ecosystem of MetaCities Excellence Hub in South-Eastern Europe. 🗣 The Deputy Head of the Laboratory, associate professor Christos Antonopoulos , gave an insightful overview of the designed Greek pilot on #smartmobility in the city of Patras, in the context of the workshop entitled 📌 “From Smart Cities to Metacities”. 💡 Among other experts, NCPs and representatives of Metacity North Europe, of the Bulgarian, Cypriot and Italian ecosystem and speakers presenting “hot” topics on #digitaltwins and #5G for metacities, prof. Antonopoulos not only highlighted the exploitation of IoT and communication technologies for the Greek case, thanks to the collaboration of ESDA LAB with 7 Greek partners, but also contributed significantly as facilitator to the co-creation event at the same workshop aiming at the exchange of ideas for collaboration and interconnection of metacities projects across Europe and particularly on the possible working model of such a collaboration 🆙 🔜 More details on this fruitful event opening up a more connected way forward will be shared soon.
