✨ My Meta Interview Journey ✨ Recently, I had the opportunity to interview with Meta, a journey that was both exciting and humbling. I applied through a referral, and the process consisted of two rounds: a screening and the main interview. While I didn’t get the final offer, I walked away with invaluable lessons, a deeper understanding of the process, and a renewed sense of determination to keep growing. Every step in the journey pushed me to refine my skills, think critically, and embrace challenges. I want to take a moment to thank Dan Sullivan and Alan M. for their support and guidance throughout the process. Your encouragement made the journey so much smoother, and I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into helping me navigate this experience. Rejections are never easy, but I believe they are stepping stones to growth. This experience reminded me that every "no" is one step closer to a "yes." I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity, the people I met, and the insights I gained. To anyone else facing rejections in their career—keep going, keep learning, and trust the process. Today we are celebrating a client starting their dream job at Meta ❤️ When we started working together, the problem they wanted to solve was to "not sound junior" based on feedback they received. They had difficulty structuring their interview responses to highlight their achievements and impact effectively, at the right level. Because they work on highly technical products, they needed guidance on how to explain their work in more strategic ways to interviewers who are not as technical. Emotion wise, they needed strategies to present themselves more confidently during interviews after failing the Meta interview before. Based on their problems, the way we solved it was crafting and practicing their responses to highlight their achievements and impact, rather than just focusing on execution and technical details. We also worked on confidence building and shifting their mindset for interviews, including meditating and healing together to get their vibes up when they were feeling low. Looking back on our journey, I am so excited for them, not just because of their dream Meta role, but because of all the inner work and healing that I've been able to provide the support for and witness. ❤️ ~~~ I help Product leaders get their dream roles in Big Tech.
