📢 Excited to share our latest blog post on understanding multi-objective feature associations! In this post, we highlight the importance of interpreting how multiple features contribute to specific objectives, particularly in agricultural settings. Our proposed objective-specific feature interaction design using multi-labels aims to find optimal feature combinations, integrating feature explanations with global sensitivity analysis. 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂-3𝐃, an automated tool and webserver to mine and rationalize protein-protein interface information for a given protein 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂-3𝐃 was developed by the Bonvin lab. For a given protein, 1️⃣ 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂-3𝐃 retrieves existing interface information from the PDBe-graph database, and 2️⃣ then applies hierarchical clustering on calculated similarity values of interfaces projected on the protein structure. The authors also showed that, information generated by ARCTIC-3D can be used as input docking restraints to docking methods like HADDOCK (also from Bonvin Lab), and similar to AlphaLink and ColabDock (both using experimental restraints), to drive protein complex modeling with results comparable to predictions by AF-Multimer. Greenness is a key indicator of chlorophyll levels, reflecting a plant's capacity for photosynthesis, growth, and development. In plant #phenotyping, analyzing greenness from images offers valuable insights into plant development, stress responses, and overall health. To assess how green a plant is, the #LemnaTec Software Suite uses advanced color analysis algorithms to generate numerical values that quantify color intensity. https://lnkd.in/ekBv_BJU How green is your plant? A very useful workshop to learn how to perform analysis of covariance, test invariance on a measurement model, and how to fit a cross-lagged model. Do not miss AgroStat2024
AgroStat2024 will host the workshop 💡"Structural equation modelling from covariance analysis to PLS-SEM", delivered by 🎤 Jean Michel Galharet, ONIRIS, Nantes. 🙇♂️ 🙇♀️ In these models, an unobserved variable (latent variable) is associated with each block of matched data and we are interested in the set of regression equations linking these variables together. The coefficients of these models can be estimated using analysis of covariances or the PLS approach. 👉⌛To attend this workshop to learn about the principles of PLS-SEM and the R package lavaan, register at: https://lnkd.in/eWbeGRFj.

to interpret a phylogenetic tree you have to know first about the type of sequences you deals with and the organism to be aware when you analyze it. Also, you have to differentiate between what had been published before and what you are currently working as some sequences may be published in comparison to another up to 100 sequences so its position in phylogenetic tree will be different in other words like in the pic only 20 sequences used to draw and though their position in clades will be different from the published before. For better interpretation you have to get the maximum advantage of the visualization software to make clades and nodes clear to be easy to interpret. #Phylogenetic_tree #Viral_genome #Monkeypox #interpretation
