💡 New on Nexus, George V. Hulme writes about how #DevOps approaches to software development have not been widely implemented in operational technology (#OT) environments, but as the demand for increased digitization and convergence of IT/OT grows, more DevOps processes may find their way into #industrial development. https://hubs.li/Q02TMszX0

Composable platforms are powerful solutions that will likely become crucial for businesses requiring high customization and agility. However, the concepts of composability and platform engineering are relatively new and evolving. It's important to keep in mind that platform tools are intended to provide developers with ready-to-use capabilities. If components are frequently added and removed, it could contradict the goal of platform tools to simplify and streamline development processes. In conclusion, composable platforms (and composable architecture of IDP) are a promising approach. #PlatformEngineering #ComposablePlatform #ComposableArchitecture #IDP
Platform engineering has emerged as a way to manage DevOps workflows at scale. But like every new technology, the monolithic approach to platform development comes with inherent limitations. https://lnkd.in/dgzbSJrP #DevOps #PlatformEngineering by Michel Murabito 🚀 thanks to Mia-Platform
