We tried this 'taco talk' thing at work—giving out tacos for every little thing. But, when everyone gets a taco for just showing up, it loses meaning. It's like the participation trophy of the workplace. Recognition should be meaningful, not just handed out. Celebrate REAL achievements. #motivationalvideos #success #business #tacos #team #personaldevelopment #inspirationalvideos

Why Kudos Matter? Every month, we end our team meeting with something special: Kudos. It’s not just a formality. It’s a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and wins we achieve together. But why do we make Kudos a key part of our monthly meetings? Here’s why: 1. It strengthens our company culture. → Recognizing each other’s efforts reinforces our culture of appreciation and teamwork. → People don’t just work for a company; they work with it when they feel seen and valued. 2. It deepens team connections. → Celebrating wins together, big or small, helps us grow stronger as a team. → It reminds us that success is collective, and every role matters in achieving our goals. 3. It boosts motivation and drive. → Acknowledging individual achievements sparks inspiration across the team. → When one person wins, we all feel empowered to push for more. In a world where work often feels fast-paced and transactional, we’ve found that taking time to give thanks and celebrate together keeps us connected and driven. So, here’s my question: How do you celebrate wins in your workplace? Drop your ideas in the comments or repost to share how your team builds a culture of appreciation. 👏

🏆 Proud sponsors of 'THE DREAM TEAM' category at The Nottys, where we celebrated those rare workplace unicorns who've mastered the art of not rolling their eyes during Monday morning meetings! Turns out, some people really have cracked the code of workplace harmony - and no, it's not just about hiding the good biscuits from Karen in Accounts. These champions make collaboration look easier than explaining to your boss why you're "working from home" during Wimbledon. The winning teams showed us that success isn't just about KPIs and synergy (though we do love a good buzzword bingo). It's about somehow maintaining a straight face when someone suggests "Let's take this offline" for the fifth time that day. To all the winners: we're genuinely impressed by your ability to achieve greatness without descending into passive-aggressive Post-it notes about the office fridge. Truly remarkable stuff! 👏 Haven't booked your spot yet? There's still time to join in the fun! Grab your tickets here: https://lnkd.in/e6FS_ged Check out more workplace wizardry at @TheNottys or thenottys.co.uk - where business meets banter, and everyone pretends the awards aren't going straight on their desk to assert dominance. #TheNottys #BusinessButFun #MiGolfSponsorship #DreamTeamAward #WhyIsTheTeaKettleAlwaysEmpty #MiGolf Chris Bentley

👋 Meet George. George has loved 💚 the Purpose, Values and Vision (PVV) of the company he works for since the moment he laid eyes on them. They really align with his personal Values. He champions 🚀 them with his colleagues and lives and breathes them in everything he does. Nice one George! 👍 George works alongside Helen (AKA Hesitant Helen). Helen just isn’t sure about the point of PVV 🤷♀️ . She’s new to the organisation and no-one’s ever explained to her how they align with what she does. But she’s willing to keep an open mind and see how things go. Derek (AKA Disengaged Derek) is also in the team. Derek just won’t get behind the PVV 👎 . They simply don’t resonate with him ❌ and he can’t put a past experience behind him when the Purpose, Values and Vision of the company he was working for were nothing more than WOW (Words On a Wall). 👉 As you take your company’s PVV ‘Beyond WOW’, support your managers to… ✔️ …recognise that each team member will be coming at them from a different, very personal standpoint ✔️…patiently meet each individual where they are at ✔️…ask the right questions: Why are they showing up as they are? What’s their PVV backstory? How can you help them? ↗️ And slowly, very slowly, when the time is right for them, more and more Hesitant Helens will champion the PVV, like George. As for Disengaged Derek, well, he’ll either shimmy his way towards becoming more Helen or even George-like, or he’ll recognise 💡 that the itch that he’s been unable to scratch for some time is that the way the company does things just isn’t right for him after all. And as we always say at Culture Chameleon 🦎 , every company isn’t right for everyone and vice versa. And that's OK.

Public recognition is great, but personalized feedback is what truly motivates teams. JOP's feedback feature lets you give your team the recognition they deserve directly within projects. Try it out and see the difference! #JOP #feedback #teamwork
Ever thought, those pats on the back, those "employee of the month" trophies – all that jazz. Great in theory, but it may feel a bit like a participation award, right? Imagine this: your team is crushing a project, pulling all-nighters, and they finally nail it! And then you go over to them and say, "Hey, that was amazing! The way you guys tackled that problem was seriously impressive,” and then you give them that public recognition and badges. That's the kind of recognition that sticks with them. It's personal, shows you care, and makes them feel like they are part of something bigger. What do you guys think? #Recognition
