It's been nearly 30 years since China Grill changed Miami's dining scene forever. Now, the pioneer is coming back. Legendary Asian-fusion restaurant China Grill closed in 2012 but will reopen at Bal Harbour Shops in the next two years. According to a report by Commercial Observer, in 2021, renowned restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow and his company, China Grill Management, secured a deal for a "first-floor unit at the exclusive Bal Harbour Shops in the greater Miami area," according to public documents and state records. New Times can also confirm it will replace Stephen Starr's French bistro Le Zoo on the first floor. However, it is important to note that Starr's hospitality group, STARR RESTAURANT CATERING GROUP LP, will oversee the new China Grill. 📰 Read the story:

Did you know that most waiters/s do not know how to carve a Chateaubriand at the table and this can be a wonderful experience for your customers in the dining experience some free training for you 👇 Carving a Chateaubriand tableside can be a sophisticated and impressive presentation. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to carve a Chateaubriand at the table: Equipment: - Roasted or grilled Chateaubriand (beef tenderloin) - Carving knife - Serving platter - Serving fork - Optional: Sauce boat for accompanying sauce Procedure: Resting the Chateaubriand: Allow the cooked Chateaubriand to rest for about 10-15 minutes before carving. Placing on the Serving Platter: Transfer the rested Chateaubriand onto a large serving platter, presenting it whole to the guests before carving. Starting the Carving: Begin by identifying the center of the Chateaubriand. This is typically the thickest part of the roast. Slicing into Steaks: Using a sharp carving knife, make the first cut straight down through the center of the Chateaubriand to create two equal portions. Creating Individual Steaks: Continue slicing the Chateaubriand into individual steaks, cutting perpendicular to the initial slices. Aim for uniform thickness. Arranging on the Platter Arrange the sliced Chateaubriand steaks neatly on the serving platter. Fan them out to create an aesthetically pleasing display.
