Thanks Mayor! 🦓 Mayor Don Burnette has declared May as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD) Awareness Month. EDS, affecting 1 in 5,000 people, includes symptoms like joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility. HSD also involves joint hypermobility, along with instability, pain, and other issues such as fatigue, headaches, GI problems, and autonomic dysfunction. Unfortunately, there is no cure for these conditions.
