How to Make Peace - PREVENT WAR (WASTE) HAPPENING, IN THE FIRST PLACE: To put it simply, CONFLICTS END in THREE DIFFERENT WAYS. The ROAD TO PEACE agreements is often long and takes place in several stages. The majority of conflicts in the world in recent decades have been and are civil wars, not conflicts between states. It is also civil wars that have been researched the most in the last 20 years. Much conflict research is about what we call "conflict recurrence". Conflicts in three different ways. Through a peace agreement, possibly with a cease-fire that will stand permanently. Through military victory. The conflict is frozen, no solution has been reached, but there are no acts of war or physical violence. WAR, WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. https://lnkd.in/dmS4GJpT NOTHING AT ALL !!! - ACT ACCORDINGLY PLS. The situation in the world can turn around again. So even though the world is troubled now, it can also turn back towards more peaceful times. INDUSTRY 5.0 https://lnkd.in/dvUTZisZ PREVENTS WASTE HAPPENING, in any form or shape. SOCIAL HUMAN WASTE: People - hindered a meaningful life; too young/old, wrong gender/culture, religion/race, sexuality, physical and mental health, refugees, handicap/disability https://lnkd.in/dwEqJWW4

"Achieving peace requires understanding and engagement at the community level, where conflict's impact is felt most deeply. Insider mediation is a transformative approach where trusted and respected community members become agents for peace. These individuals possess the cultural fluency, local knowledge, and credibility needed to navigate sensitive issues and foster reconciliation from within. As the United Nations Secretary-General emphasized in his New Agenda for Peace, prevention must be a political priority to stop fragility from leading to violence and conflict. By empowering local actors to contribute to peace, resist divisive narratives and build social cohesion, communities become better equipped to resist violence and conflict." This past Tuesday, November 5th, I was glad to return to an interact project—Nexus—to speak, share, and discuss the role of education in empowering peace and conflict resolution. We also discussed whether we should prioritize peace over justice, exploring how we can achieve justice in peaceful ways. Additionally, we talked about small- to large-scale initiatives that can significantly contribute to global peacebuilding efforts. We did some journaling as well. I asked the audience five reflective questions and joined them in answering, which felt deeply reflective. The questions I asked were:1. What does "peace" mean to you personally? Describe a moment when you felt at peace, and consider what elements contributed to that feeling.2. Identify situations or behaviors that often trigger conflict for you. How do these triggers affect your approach to resolving disagreements?3. Is reconciliation always necessary, or can peace be achieved with an unresolved conflict? Share your thoughts and any experiences that have influenced your perspective.4. What are some differences (cultural, ideological, generational) that you see as sources of conflict? How can understanding these differences contribute to peacebuilding?5. Imagine you’re looking back on your life years from now. What impact would you hope to have made toward peace and conflict resolution, in your personal life and beyond? (P.S. In the photo below, you can see me being introduced to the audience and feeling comfortable as always lol my face says everything)

🌍 The Power of Peacebuilding in a Divided World 🌍 In a world marked by conflict and division, peacebuilding is not just an ideal—it’s a necessity. It’s about more than just stopping violence; it's about fostering understanding, resolving disputes, and building bridges between individuals and communities. At its core, peacebuilding begins with listening. It requires us to step out of our own perspectives and understand the needs, pain, and aspirations of others. From the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) teachings, we learn that justice, empathy, and reconciliation are the foundations of lasting peace. Whether it's in families, communities, or between nations, peace isn't something we wait for—it’s something we actively create. What can we do? - Dialogue over debate. - Compassion over judgment. - Mediation over conflict. When we embrace these values, we don’t just resolve conflicts—we build a foundation for harmony that can last generations. What steps are you taking in your personal or professional life to promote peace and understanding? Let's share and inspire each other! 💬 #Peacebuilding #ConflictResolution #Mediation #Empathy #Leadership #IslamicValues #Unity #Collaboration #GlobalHarmony
